6. The leadership crisis at the Transitional Legislative Assembly was resolved on 2 August, when the Supreme Court of Liberia issued a final ruling on the matter. The Court ruled that the Assembly's suspension of four members, including the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, did not violate the Constitution, the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, or the standing rules of the Assembly and that the Assembly had followed due process.
