His delegation endorsed the recommendation to annex the draft United Nations Model Rules for the Conciliation of Disputes between States to a resolution or decision to be adopted by the General Assembly with a view to promoting the peaceful solution of disputes. It likewise endorsed the deletion of the " enemy State " clauses from the Charter on the ground that they were obsolete.
٤ - وقال إن وفده يؤيد التوصية الداعية إلى إرفاق مشروع قواعد اﻷمم المتحدة النموذجية للتوفيق في المنازعات التي تنشأ بين الدول بقرار أو مقرر تعتمده الجمعية العامة بقصد التشجيع على تسوية المنازعات بالوسائل السلمية، كما يؤيد حذف عبارات " الدولة المعادية " ﻷنه عفا عليها الزمن.

The Working Group had recommended that a process be initiated, by the General Assembly with a view to ensuring that the legal framework for the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction effectively addressed those issues by identifying gaps and ways forward, including through the implementation of existing instruments and the possible development of a multilateral agreement under the Convention.
