In that resolution, the Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to the Strategy and its implementation, and requested the Secretary-General to submit to it, at its sixty-sixth session, a report on progress made in the implementation of the Strategy, which could contain suggestions for its future implementation by the United Nations system, as well as in the implementation of the resolution.
وفي ذلك القرار أكدت الجمعية العامة مجددا التزامها بالاستراتيجية وتطبيقِها، وطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والستين تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ الاستراتيجية وفي تنفيذ القرار، يمكن أن يتضمن اقتراحات تنفذها منظومة الأمم المتحدة مستقبلا.

The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 61/171, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that any measure taken to combat terrorism must comply with States' obligations under international law, in particular human rights, refugee and humanitarian law.
يُقدّم هذا التقرير عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 61/171 الذي أكّدت فيه الجمعية العامة مجددا أنه يتعين على الدول أن تكفل امتثال أية تدابيـر تتخذها لمكافحة الإرهاب لالتزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي، لا سيما القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين الدولي والقانون الإنساني الدولي.

7. In section V of its resolution 53/221 of 7 April 1999, the General Assembly reiterated and reinforced as follows the requests previously made in resolution 51/226:

10. In its resolution 42/51, the General Assembly reaffirmed its endorsement of the Plan and requested the Secretary-General, through the Commission for Social Development, to continue to monitor progress in its implementation through the quadrennial review and appraisal process.

36. By paragraph 68 of the Summit Outcome, the General Assembly reaffirmed its " commitment to address the special needs of Africa, which is the only continent not on track to meet any of the goals of the Millennium Declaration by 2015, to enable it to enter the mainstream of the world economy " .
36 - أكدت الجمعية العامة مجددا في الفقرة 68 من نتائج القمة التزامها " بتلبية الاحتياجات الخاصة لأفريقيا التي تعد القارة الوحيدة التي لم تسر في اتجاه تحقيق أي من أهداف الإعلان بشأن الألفية بحلول عام 2015، وذلك من أجل تمكينها من الاندماج في مسيرة الاقتصاد العالمي " .

In its resolution 57/215, entitled " Question of enforced or involuntary disappearances " , the General Assembly reaffirmed that any act of enforced disappearance is an offence to human dignity and a grave and flagrant violation of the human rights and fundamental freedoms proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In resolution 2625 (XXV) of 1970, the General Assembly reaffirmed the illegality of the acquisition of territory by the threat or the use of force, as well as the inherent right of all peoples to self-determination.
وفي القرار 2625 (د - 25) لعام 1970، أكدت الجمعية العامة مجددا عدم قانونية حيازة الأراضي من خلال التهديد بالقوة أو استخدامها، وأكدت أيضا الحق الطبيعي لجميع الشعوب في تقرير المصير.

29. The high-level meeting on Africa's development needs concluded with the adoption of a political declaration (General Assembly resolution 63/1), in which the Assembly reaffirmed the commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women.
29 - واختُتِم الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى بشأن احتياجات أفريقيا الإنمائية باعتماد إعلان سياسي (قرار الجمعية العامة 63/1) أكدت فيه الجمعية العامة مجددا الالتزام بالمساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة.

The attention of the Committee is drawn to the provisions of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B of 21 December 1990, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee is the appropriate Main Committee of the Assembly entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters and also reaffirmed the role of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
وأود أن أسترعي انتباه اللجنة إلى أحكام الفرع السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء المؤرخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1990، الذي تؤكد فيه الجمعية العامة مجددا أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية بين لجان الجمعية المناط بها مسؤوليات الشؤون الإدارية وشؤون الميزانية، وتؤكد كذلك على دور اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية بمسائل الإدارة والميزانية.

6- ووجّه انتباه اللجنة إلى أحكام الباب السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء، الذي تؤكد فيه الجمعية العامة مجددا أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية التابعة للجمعية العامة المختصة بالمسؤولية عن المسائل الإدارية ومسائل الميزانية وتؤكد فيه من جديد أيضا على دور اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

39. In paragraph 10 of resolution 51/176, the General Assembly reiterated that the Commission on Population and Development has the primary responsibility for monitoring, reviewing and assessing the implementation of the Programme of Action.
٣٩ - في الفقرة ١٠ من القرار ٥١/١٧٦، أكدت الجمعية العامة مجددا أن لجنة السكان والتنمية تتحمل المسؤولية اﻷولية عن رصد واستعراض وتقييم تنفيذ برنامج العمل.

In the drafts, the General Assembly reaffirms the important mandates entrusted to these entities and focuses on enhancing relevant activities in support of the exercise by the Palestinian people of its inalienable rights and of a just and peaceful solution to the question of Palestine.

In its resolution 33/163 of 20 December 1978, the Assembly reiterated that invitation.
وفي قرارها ٣٣/١٦٣ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٧٨ أكدت الجمعية العامة مجددا تلك الدعوة.
