The Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security were addressed in item III. Item IV included updates on global and regional initiatives.
وتمّ بحث الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية بشأن الحوكمة المسؤولة لحيازة الأراضي ومصائد الأسماك والغابات، ضمن إطار البند الثالث.

1.1 These Voluntary Guidelines seek to improve governance of tenure of land,* fisheries and forests.
1-1 تسعى هذه الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية إلى تحسين حوكمة حيازة الأراضي، ومصايد الأسماك والغابات.

The Chair summarized the conduct and process of the negotiations and presented the text of the VGGT as agreed by the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG).

وكان الأبرز في الدورة الثلاثين للجنة الأمن الغذائي العالمي عام 2004 اعتماد الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية لدعم الإعمال المطّرد للحق في غذاء كافٍ في سياق الأمن الغذائي الوطني.

14. The Committee on World Food Security endorsed the Voluntary Guidelines as submitted and decided to transmit them to Council for final adoption.
14 - وأقرّت لجنة الأمن الغذائي العالمي الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية بالصيغة التي عرضت فيها وقررت إحالتها إلى المجلس للموافقة النهائية عليها.

Many members also requested the secretariat to seek additional extrabudgetary resources to further mainstream the Voluntary Guidelines.

The CFS will strive for a world free from hunger where countries implement the Voluntary Guidelines for the progressive realization of the right to adequate food in the context of national food security.
وستسعى اللجنة جاهدة إلى قيام عالم متحرر من الجوع تقوم فيه البلدان بتنفيذ الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية للإعمال المطرد للحق في غذاء كاف في سياق الأمن الغذائي القطري.

28. The initiative to develop these Voluntary Guidelines grew out of commitments made by Governments at the two successive World Food Summits.
28- ونشأت المبادرة المتعلقة بوضع هذه الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية عن التزامات الحكومات في مؤتمري القمة العالميين للأغذية.

This has been recognized by States in the Voluntary Guidelines on the right to adequate food (guideline 16).
وأقرت الدول بهذا المبدأ في الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية المتعلقة بالحق في غذاء كافٍ (الخط التوجيهي 16).

Reaffirming the Voluntary Guidelines to Support the Progressive Realization of the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security, adopted by the Council of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in November 2004,

12. The Chair summarized the conduct and process of negotiations of the Voluntary Guidelines and presented the draft text of the Voluntary Guidelines as adopted by the Working Group.
12 - وقدّم الرئيس عرضاً موجزاً عن حالة المفاوضات بشأن الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية وعرض نص الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية بالصيغة التي أقرتها جماعة العمل الحكومية الدولية.

26. The Council adopted the Voluntary Guidelines to Support the Progressive Realization of the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security.
26 - وافق المجلس على الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية لدعم لإعمال المطرد للحق في غذاء كاف في سياق الأمن الغذائي القطري، المرفقة بهذا التقرير ضمن المرفق دال.

33. While many members requested the secretariat to mainstream the Voluntary Guidelines in its work programme, others opposed it.

4. The Session was opened by Mr. Yaya Olaniran of Nigeria as Chairperson, who introduced the item " Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security (VGGT) " (CFS 2012/38/2).
4 - وافتتح الدورة السيد Yaya Olaniran من نيجيريا، رئيس اللجنة، وعرض البند بعنوان " الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية بشأن الحوكمة المسؤولة لحيازة الأراضي ومصايد الأسماك والغابات في سياق الأمن الغذائي الوطني " (الخطوط التوجيهية الطوعية) (الوثيقة CFS 2012/38/2).

9. The process should take into account lessons learnt from other CFS-led processes such as the VGGT and the Global Strategic Framework for Food Security and Nutrition (GSF).

The Committee took particular note of the important role that other stakeholders had been able to play in the development of the guidelines.
