The General Assembly, in its resolution 45/242, requested the Commission to undertake in 1995 a further comprehensive review of the methodology for determining the pensionable remuneration of staff in the Professional and higher categories, and of the application of that methodology, in full cooperation with the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board.
٧ - طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اللجنة في قرارها ٤٥/٢٤٢ أن تقوم، بالتعاون الوثيق مع مجلس الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة، بإجراء استعراض شامل في عام ٥٩٩١ للمنهجية المتبعة في تحديد جدول اﻷجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي لموظفي الفئة الفنية وما فوقها، ولتطبيق تلك المنهجية.

On the basis of the results of those negotiations, the Board had adopted its position on the methodology for determining General Service pensionable remuneration and the various aspects thereof.

20. The Board agreed that the income replacement approach and the current methodology related thereto should continue to serve as the basis for the determination of the pensionable remuneration of staff in the Professional and higher categories and in the General Service and related categories.
٢٠ - وافق المجلس على أن يظل نهج استبدال الدخل والمنهجية الحالية المتعلقة به أساس تحديد اﻷجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي لموظفي الفئة الفنية والفئات العليا ولفئة الخدمة العامة والفئات المتصلة بها.

(b) The pensionable remuneration of staff members in the Field Service category shall be established in the same manner as for staff in the Professional and higher categories.
)ب( يحدد اﻷجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي لموظفي فئة الخدمة الميدانية بنفس الطريقة التي يحدد بها هذا اﻷجر لموظفي الفئة الفنية والفئات العليا.
