2. In addition to the above and given the complementary and mutually interrelated nature of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, the review shall take into account applicable international humanitarian law.

10. Calls on the transitional authorities to take all necessary steps to put an immediate stop, throughout the national territory, to all acts of violence against the civilian population, in strict compliance with the provisions of applicable international human rights law;
10- يدعو السلطات الانتقالية إلى اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان وضع حد فوري لجميع أعمال العنف ضد السكان المدنيين، في جميع أرجاء الإقليم الوطني، مع الاحترام الصارم لأحكام القانون الدولي الواجبة التطبيق وحقوق الإنسان؛

12. Further to the meeting and subject to and consistent with applicable international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, including resolution 1612 (2005), the Working Group agreed to the following.
12 - ومتابعة لذلك الاجتماع، ورهنا بأحكام القانون الدولي الواجبة التطبيق وبقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة بما فيها قرار مجلس الأمن 1612 (2005) وانسجاماً معها، اتفق الفريق العامل على الأمور الواردة أدناه.

Article 2 to that Resolution states that: " In addition to the above and given the complementary and mutually interrelated nature of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, the review shall take into account applicable international humanitarian law " .
وتنص المادة 2 من القرار على ما يلي: " إضافة إلى ما تَقَدَّمَ، ونظراً لما يتصف به القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الإنساني الدولي من طابع تكاملي ومترابط ومُعَزِّز لبعضه البعض، تراعى في الاستعراض أحكام القانون الإنساني الدولي الواجبة التطبيق " .

In follow-up to the recommendations of the Working Group, approved by the Security Council, and subject to and consistent with applicable international law and relevant Council resolutions, including resolutions 1612 (2005) and 1882 (2009), I am entrusted, in my capacity as Chair of the Working Group, to convey the following:
ومتابعة لتوصيات الفريق العامل التي أقرها مجلس الأمن، ورهنا بأحكام القانون الدولي الواجبة التطبيق وقرارات المجلس المتخذة في هذا الشأن، بما فيها القراران 1612 (2005) و 1882 (2009)، وبما يتسق معها، كلفت، بصفتي رئيس الفريق العامل، بأن أبلغكم بما يلي:

The arbitral tribunal shall reach its decision by a majority of votes on the basis of the applicable rules of international law.
وتصل هيئة التحكيم إلى قرارها بأغلبية اﻷصوات على أساس قواعد القانون الدولي الواجبة التطبيق.

Almost by definition the entities in question will not be able to become party to such instruments and, in some cases, they may seek to exploit this situation and ignore the applicable principles of international law.
فهذه الكيانات المعنية، من واقع تعريفها وحده تقريبا، لن تستطيع أن تصبح طرفا في هذه الصكوك، بل انها قد تحاول، في بعض الحالات، استغلال هذا الوضع فتتجاهل مبادئ القانون الدولي الواجبة التطبيق.
