Today we celebrate the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
نحتفل اليوم بالذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

The celebration of International Mother Earth Day will further encourage our moral and legal commitment to respect nature and ensure environmental sustainability.
والاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض سيشجع كذلك التزامنا المعنوي والقانوني باحترام الطبيعة وكفالة الاستدامة البيئية.

I now declared concluded the special meeting of the General Assembly on the occasion of International Mother Earth Day.
أعلن الآن عن اختتام الاجتماع الاستثنائي للجمعية العامة بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

To that end, the Secretary-General was requested to convene an interactive dialogue between the United Nations and the scientific community, to coincide with the observance of International Mother Earth Day in 2012.
وتحقيقا لهذا الغرض، طُلب من الأمين العام أن يعقد حوارا متفاعلا بين الأمم المتحدة والأوساط العلمية، بالتزامن مع الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض في عام 2012.

In celebration of International Mother Earth Day,
واحتفالا باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض،

This first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day finds us still perplexed at the devastating effects of the earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Indonesia and China and the rains and avalanches in Brazil.
تحل الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض ونحن لا نزال نشعر بالجزع من الآثار المدمرة للزلازل في هايتي وشيلي وإندونيسيا والصين والأمطار والانهيارات الأرضية في البرازيل.

The commemoration of International Mother Earth Day is therefore timely and relevant as we seek to mitigate such possible outcomes, particularly through a legally binding agreement.
ومن ثم فإن الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض جاء في الوقت المناسب وهو وثيق الصلة بسعينا إلى التخفيف من النتائج الممكنة، لا سيما من خلال اتفاق ملزم قانونا.

The President (spoke in Arabic): In accordance with decision 64/556 of 15 April 2010, the General Assembly will now hold a special meeting on the occasion of the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
الرئيس: وفقا لمقرر الجمعية العامة 556/64 المؤرخ 15 نيسان/أبريل 2010، تعقد الجمعية العامة اجتماعا استثنائيا بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

It is hoped that those resolutions will bring about the needed change, help raise global awareness of International Mother Earth Day, set the impetus to reverse the global environmental degradation and preserve Mother Earth for generations to come.
ومن المأمول فيه أن يؤدي ذانك القراران إلى إحداث التغيير المطلوب، ورفع مستوى الوعي العالمي باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض، وخلق الزخم اللازم لعكس التدهور البيئي للكرة الأرضية والحفاظ على أمنا الأرض للأجيال المقبلة.

3. Requests the Secretary-General to establish a trust fund for the participation of independent experts in the interactive dialogue to be held at the plenary meetings to be convened during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day on 23 April 2012, and invites Member States and other relevant stakeholders to consider contributing to this fund;
3 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن ينشئ صندوقا استئمانيا من أجل مشاركة الخبراء المستقلين في الحوار التفاعلي المزمع إجراؤه في الجلستين العامتين المقرر عقدها أثناء الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض في 23 نيسان/أبريل 2012، وتدعو الدول الأعضاء وغيرها من الجهات المعنية إلى النظر في المساهمة في هذا الصندوق؛

2. Invites all Member States, the relevant organizations of the United Nations system, and international, regional and subregional organizations to make use of International Mother Earth Day, as appropriate, to promote activities and exchange opinions and views on conditions, experiences and principles for a life in harmony with nature;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء والمؤسسات المعنية التابعة لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية ودون الإقليمية إلى الاستفادة من اليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض، حسب الاقتضاء، في تعزيز الأنشطة وتبادل الآراء ووجهات النظر بشأن الأوضاع والخبرات والمبادئ المتصلة بالعيش في انسجام مع الطبيعة؛

2. Invites all Member States, the organizations of the United Nations system, international, regional and subregional organizations, civil society, nongovernmental organizations and relevant stakeholders to observe and raise awareness of International Mother Earth Day, as appropriate;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء ومؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية ودون الإقليمية والمجتمع المدني والمنظمات غير الحكومية وأصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض والتوعية به على النحو المناسب؛

Mr. Lima (Cape Verde) (spoke in French): It is my honour to make this statement on behalf of the Group of African States, and my pleasure to address this Assembly on the occasion of the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day 2010.
السيد ليما (الرأس الأخضر) (تكلم بالفرنسية): يشرفني أن أدلي بهذا البيان نيابة عن مجموعة الدول الأفريقية، ويسعدني أن أخاطب هذه الجمعية بمناسبة الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض في عام 2010.

In that regard, we wish to propose eight ideas to contribute to the Assembly's deliberations, which should open the way for the adoption of more tangible measures to ensure that such awareness is translated into action as a tribute to International Mother Earth Day, which we are celebrating today.
وفي هذا الصدد، نود أن نقترح ثماني أفكار للإسهام في مداولات الجمعية العامة، التي ينبغي أن تمهد الطريق لاعتماد تدابير ملموسة بدرجة أكبر، لكفالة ترجمة هذا الوعي إلى عمل، احتفاء باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض، الذي نحييه اليوم.

Our presence here on the occasion of the International Mother Earth Day underscores the importance we attach to achieving sustainable development and, more profoundly, preserving the Earth.
ويبرز حضورنا هنا اليوم بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض الأهمية التي نوليها لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، والأهم من ذلك، المحافظة على الأرض.
