The following three States parties from the Group of Western European and Other States reported on the implementation of the Convention in the reporting period from 1 December 2007 to 14 August 2009: Australia, Greece and Malta. The United Kingdom provided an update of its previous submission.
27- أبلغت الدول الأطراف الثلاث التالية من مجموعة دول أوروبا الغربية ودول أخرى عن تنفيذ الاتفاقية خلال فترة الإبلاغ من 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007 إلى 14 آب/ أغسطس 2009: أستراليا([11]) ومالطة واليونان، وقدّمت المملكة المتحدة لبريطانيا العظمى وايرلندا الشمالية تحديثا لتقريرها السابق.

Since the last report (CEDAW/SP/2008/2), the following three States parties have deposited instruments of acceptance: Argentina on 9 July 2009; Azerbaijan on 23 May 2008, Costa Rica on 27 April 2009 and Spain on 26 January 2009.

65. Of the three States parties with a reported need for assistance in the implementation of article 5, two reported that they had taken steps that were all in line with actions Nos. 33-36 of the Vientiane Action Plan, by having in place a national plan for victim assistance and engaging with civil society groups and other States parties.

The updates on progress achieved provided by Belarus, Greece and Turkey at the 2 June 2008 meeting of the Standing Committee on Stockpile Destruction were welcomed but some States Parties expressed serious concern regarding these three cases of non-compliance and called on these three States parties to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
23- ورحب المشاركون بالمعلومات الحديثة عن التقدم المحرز التي قدمتها بيلاروس وتركيا واليونان في اجتماع اللجنة الدائمة المعنية بتدمير المخزونات المعقود في 2 حزيران/يونيه 2008، لكن بعض الدول الأطراف أعربت عن قلق شديد بشأن هذه الحالات الثلاث التي لم تف فيها الدول الأطراف بالتزاماتها، وناشدت تلك الدول الأطراف الثلاث تصحيح الوضع في أقرب وقت ممكن.
