2. All States Parties to this Convention shall be members of the Agency. A State Party shall not be deprived of its membership in the Agency.

States Parties to this Convention shall take effective and appropriate measures to enable persons with disabilities to live independently and be fully included in the community, including by ensuring that:
تتخذ الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية التدابير الفعالة والمناسبة لتمكين المعوقين من العيش المستقل والإدماج الكامل في المجتمع، ويشمل ذلك ما يلي:

The States Parties to this Convention undertake to consult one another and to cooperate in solving any problems which may arise in relation to the objective of, or in the application of the provisions of, the Convention.

ويحيل الأمين العام اقتراح التعديل إلى الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية طالباً منها أن تُبلغه بما إذا كانت تؤيد فكرة عقد مؤتمر للدول الأطراف بغرض النظر في الاقتراح وطرحه للتصويت.

3. An amendment adopted in accordance with paragraph 1 of this article shall enter into force when two thirds of the States Parties to this Convention have accepted it in accordance with their respective constitutional procedures.
3- يبدأ سريان كلّ تعديل يُعتمد وفقاً لأحكام الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة بعد حصوله على موافقة ثلثي الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية وفقاً للإجراء المنصوص عليه في دستور كل دولة طرف.

States Parties to the present Convention recognize the equal right of all persons with disabilities to live in the community, with choices equal to others, and shall take effective and appropriate measures to facilitate full enjoyment by persons with disabilities of this right and their full inclusion and participation in the community, including by ensuring that:

Any State Party to this Convention may propose amendments to this Convention. Amendments shall enter into force for each State Party to the Convention accepting the amendments upon their acceptance by a majority of the States parties to the Convention and thereafter for each remaining State Party to the Convention on the date of acceptance by it.
لأية دولة من الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية أن تقترح إدخال تعديلات عليها وتصبح التعديلات نافذة، بالنسبة إلى كل دولة تقبلها من الدول الأطراف، متى نالت قبول أغلبية الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية، وبعد ذلك تصبح نافذة، بالنسبة إلى كل دولة باقية من الدول الأطراف، ابتداء من تاريخ قبول هذه الدولة لها.

All States parties to that Convention should participate in the Conference of Plenipotentiaries to consider amendments aimed at strengthening the Convention.
وينبغي لجميع الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية أن تشترك في مؤتمر المفوضين للنظر في التعديلات الرامية إلى تعزيز الاتفاقية.

During the biennium, three parties ratified the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988, bringing the total number of States Parties to 188.
وخلال فترة السنتين، صدّقت ثلاثة أطراف على اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع في المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية لعام 1988، ليصل بذلك مجموع عدد الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية إلى 188 دولة.
