12. In its resolution 46/135, adopted on 17 December 1991, the General Assembly addressed the problem of Kuwaiti and third-country nationals who had disappeared during the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait, and requested the Government of Iraq:

The relatives of hundreds of people who disappeared in the custody of the security forces throughout the armed conflict, victims of abuses by CPN-M and relatives of members of the Nepal Police killed during the conflict are among various groups lobbying for more attention to their demands for truth, justice and reparation.
