انشـــاء منطقــة خاليــة مــــن اﻷسلحــــة النــــووية فــــي افريقيــــا القــرار GC(XXXVII)/RES/625 الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية

1. Expresses its satisfaction at the resolution 5.3 adopted by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization at its twenty-eighth session, which contains the transdisciplinary project entitled " Towards a culture of peace " ;
١ - تعرب عن ارتياحها للقرار ٣,٥ الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في دورته الثامنة والعشرين، والذي يتضمن المشروع المشترك بين التخصصات المسمى " نحو ثقافة السلام " ؛

Recalling also resolution 29 C/14 concerning the World Solar Programme 1996–2005, adopted by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in November 1997,United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Records of the General Conference, Twenty-ninth Session, Paris, 21 October–12 November 1997, vol. 1: Resolutions.
وإذ تشير أيضا إلى القرار ٢٩ جيم/١٤ المتعلق بالبرنامج العالمي للطاقة الشمسية ١٩٩٦-٢٠٠٥)٥(، الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٧،

3. Takes note of resolution GC(42)RES/43, adopted on 25 September 1998 by the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency at its forty-second regular session, concerning the application of Agency safeguards in the Middle East;
٣ - تحيط علما بالقرار م ع ٤٢/٤٣ المؤرخ ٢٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٨، الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في دورته العادية الثانية واﻷربعين بشأن تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة في الشرق اﻷوسط؛

We are pleased to note the decision by the forty-third session of the General Conference to expand the Board of Governors by eight seats through an amendment to article VI of its statutes.
ويسرنا أن نلاحظ القرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام في دورتـــه الثالثـــة واﻷربعيــن لتوسيع مجلس المحافظين بمقدار ثمانية مقاعد عن طريق تعديل المادة السادسة من نظامه اﻷساسي.

Regarding transport of radioactive material, we welcome the decision at the forty-seventh session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to develop an action plan on that matter.
أما فيما يتعلق بنقل المواد المشعة، فإننا نرحب بالقرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في دورته السابعة والأربعين بوضع خطة عمل بشأن تلك المسألة.

In that connection, we welcome the decision taken by the General Conference of UNESCO on 23 October 2009 approving the action plan for the celebration of the International Year of Rapprochement among Cultures in 2010.
وفي ذلك الصدد، نرحب بالقرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لليونسكو في 23 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2009 بالموافقة على خطة العمل المتعلقة بالاحتفال بالسنة الدولية للتقارب بين الثقافات في عام 2010.

وإذ تحيط علما أيضا بالقرار 5.6 الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في دورتها الثامنة والعشرين)٥(،

Following the resolution adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO, endorsement of the World Solar Programme 1996-2005 by the General Assembly would constitute a major contribution to its successful implementation and a recognition of the work of the World Solar Commission for the promotion of renewable energies.
وعقب القرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لليونسكو، سيشكل إقرار الجمعية العامة للبرنامج العالمي للطاقة الشمسية، ١٩٩٦-٢٠٠٥ إسهاما هاما في تنفيذه بنجاح واعترافا بعمل اللجنة العالمية للطاقة الشمسية في سبيل تعزيز مصادر الطاقة المتجددة.

8. In response to 26 C/Resolution 3.9, adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO at its twenty-sixth session in November 1991, the Director-General submitted to the Executive Board, at its one hundred and fortieth session in October 1992, a report on the reinforcement of the action taken by UNESCO for the protection of the world cultural and natural heritage.
٨ - وإستجابة للقرار ٣-٩ الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لليونسكو في دورته السادسة والعشرين في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩١، رفع المدير العام الى المجلس التنفيذي في دورته الاربعين بعد المائة في تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٢ تقريرا عن تعزيز عمل اليونسكو من أجل حماية التراث الثقافي والطبيعي العالمي.

Reaffirms the provisions of resolution 2.5, adopted by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization at its twenty-seventh session, See E/1994/17, annex.
يؤكد من جديد أحكام القرار ٢-٥ الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في دورته السابعة والعشرين)١٢١(؛

3. Takes note of resolution GC(41)RES/25, adopted on 3 October 1997 by the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency at its forty-first regular session, concerning the application of Agency safeguards in the Middle East;
٣ - تحيط علما بالقرار م ع ١٤/٥٢ بشأن تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة في الشرق اﻷوسط، الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في ٣ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٧٩٩١، في أثناء دورته العادية الحادية واﻷربعين؛

Welcoming the decision of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization to support the declaration of 2008 as the International Year of Planet Earth with a view to highlighting the importance of Earth sciences,
وإذ ترحب بالقرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة بتأييد إعلان سنة 2008 السنة الدولية لكوكب الأرض، بغية إبراز أهمية علوم الأرض أمام المجتمعات،

24. Welcomes the decision taken by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on 17 November 1999 that 21 February should be proclaimed International Mother Language Day, and calls upon Member States and the Secretariat to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by peoples of the world;
24 - ترحب بالقرار الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة في 17 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1999 بإعلان يوم 21 شباط/فبراير اليوم الدولي للغة الأم، وتهيب بالدول الأعضاء وبالأمانة العامة التشجيع على المحافظة على جميع اللغات التي تستخدمها شعوب العالم وحمايتها؛
