21. The definition of the crimes falling within the court's jurisdiction would have to be worked out at a later stage in the drafting of the statute. The draft Code of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Mankind adopted by the International Law Commission in 1996 could serve only as a basis for future work on the definition of those crimes.
٢١ - وتابعت قائلة إنه سيلزم وضع تعريف للجرائم الواقعة في نطاق صلاحيات المحكمة في مرحلة لاحقة من صياغة النظام اﻷساسي، أما مشروع مدونة الجرائم المخلة بسلم اﻹنسانية وأمنها، الذي اعتمدته لجنة القانون الدولي في عام ١٩٩٦، فلا يصلح سوى أن يشكل أساسا للعمل المقبل فيما يتعلق بتعريف هذه الجرائم.

59. AALCC stated that it had organized a seminar on the question of an international criminal court in January 1995 which furnished a forum for an informal exchange of views on the draft adopted by the International Law Commission at its forty-sixth session.
