50. When study material is put together, special attention is devoted to the illustrations and to the choice of texts in order to provide youngsters with an education free from stereotypical attitudes about the roles of men and women in society.
50- عند الإعداد الفني للمواد التعليمية واختيارها، يوجه اهتمام خاص لمحتوياتها، وذلك بهدف تعزيز تربية الأجيال الناشئة بروح متحررة من المواقف النمطية عن دور الرجل ودور المرأة في المجتمع.

42. In addition, States must closely monitor education policies, institutions, programmes, spending patterns and other practices so as to identify and take measures to redress any de facto discrimination in the right to education. States are also required to eliminate any stereotyped concept of the role of men and women in all forms of education, and encourage types of education that will break these stereotypes.
