While congratulating the State party for its recognition of cultural diversity and the differences and specificities of indigenous communities in legislation, the Committee is concerned that the emphasis placed on such specificities might detract from compliance with the provisions of the Convention relating to non-discrimination and formal and substantive equality between men and women.
82 - وفي حين تهنئ اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اعترافها في تشريعاتها بالتنوع الثقافي والفروق والخصائص التي تتسم بها مجتمعات الشعوب الأصلية، فإنها تشعر بالقلق لأن التركيز على هذه الخصائص يمكنه أن يصرف الاهتمام عن الامتثال لأحكام الاتفاقية المتعلقة بعدم التمييز والمساواة الرسمية والجوهرية بين الرجل والمرأة.
