At the opening of the session, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. José Ayala Lasso, addressed the Committee and informed it of recent developments relevant to the protection and promotion of the rights of the child.
وفي افتتاح الدورة، ألقى المفوض السامي لشؤون حقوق اﻹنسان السيد خوسيه أيالا لاسو بيانا أمام اللجنة أحاطها فيه علما بما حدث مؤخرا من تطورات ذات صلة بحماية وتعزيز حقوق الطفل.

The Committee recalled the decisions previously taken by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to develop a plan of action to strengthen substantive support for the Committee's work and to help provide resources, when necessary, for the implementation of its recommendations, including by the establishment of a substantive and multidisciplinary support team which would conduct its activities under the Committee's guidance.
وذكرت اللجنة بالمقررات التي سبق أن اتخذها المفوض السامي لشؤون حقوق اﻹنسان بوضع خطة عمل ترمي إلى تعزيز الدعم الموضوعي ﻷعمال اللجنة وإلى المساعدة على توفير الموارد، عند الضرورة، من أجل تنفيذ توصياتها، بما في ذلك إنشاء فريق دعم موضوعي ومتعدد التخصصات يضطلع بأنشطته في ظل توجيه اللجنة.

All these ideas are aimed at realizing mankind's dream of sustainable peace.
