:: In 1999, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein conferred upon Mr. SUKAYRI the Independence Medal of First Order.
الأوسمة :: في عام 1999، أنعم صاحب الجلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين على السيد السقيري بوسام الاستقلال من الدرجة الأولى.

Mr. SUKAYRI also has a Master's degree in political science from Carlton University in Canada and a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Jordan at Amman.
والسيد السقيري حاصل أيضا على شهادة الماجستير في العلوم السياسية من جامعة كارلتون في كندا وشهــادة البكالوريوس فـــي إدارة اﻷعمال من جامعة اﻷردن فــي عمان.

Mr. SUKAYRI joined his country's foreign service in 1974, and in 1993 he was accepted as one of the United Nations Disarmament Fellows.
وقـد انضـــم السيد السقيري إلى السلك الخارجي في بلده في عام ١٩٧٤، وفــي عام ١٩٩٣ قُبـل في برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة لزمالات لنزع السلاح.

As there are no other nominations, I shall take it that the Committee wishes to follow the same procedure as before and dispense with the secret ballot and declare Mr. SUKAYRI elected Rapporteur of the First Committee by acclamation.
وبما أنه لا توجد ترشيحات أخرى، سأعتبر أن اللجنة ترغب في اتباع نفس الاجراء المتبع من قبل فتستغني عن الاقتـــراع السري وتعلن انتخاب السيد السقيري مقررا للجنة اﻷولى بالتزكية.

واسمحوا لي أيضا بأن أقدم أحر تهاني القلبية إلى السفير انطونيـــو دي ايكـــازا ممثل المكسيك والسفير وولفغانغ هوفمان ممثل ألمانيا، وكذلك إلى السيد السقيري ممثل اﻷردن، الذين انتخبوا لمنصبي نائب الرئيس والمقرر على التوالي.

During his diplomatic career, Mr. SUKAYRI attended a plethora of conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums dealing with diplomacy, conflict resolution, negotiations, United Nations peacekeeping, arms control and disarmament.
وقد شارك السيد السقيري خلال عمله في السلك الدبلوماسي في العديد من المؤتمرات والحلقات الدراسية وحلقات العمل والندوات التي تناولت مواضيع الدبلوماسية وتسوية النـزاعات والمفاوضات وأنشطة الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام وتحديد الأسلحة ونزع السلاح.
