٦ - يطلب أيضا الى السلطات العسكرية على الجانبين التعاون مع قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلم في قبرص في توسيع نطاق اتفاق عام ١٩٨٩ بشأن إخلاء المناطق من اﻷفراد، ليشمل جميع قطاعات المنطقة العازلة التي يوجد فيها الجانبان على مقربة شديدة أحدهما من اﻵخر؛

In its resolution 889 (1993) of 15 December 1993, the Security Council, inter alia, called upon the military authorities on both sides to ensure that no incidents occurred along the buffer zone and to extend their full cooperation to UNFICYP.
وطلب مجلس اﻷمن، في قراره ٨٨٩ )١٩٩٣( المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣ الى السلطات العسكرية على الجانبين أن تكفل عدم وقوع أي حوادث على امتداد المنطقة العازلة وأن تمد يد التعاون التام الى القوة.

It will be recalled that in its resolution 889 (1993) of 15 December 1993, the Security Council called, once again, upon the military authorities on both sides to cooperate with UNFICYP in extending the 1989 unmanning agreement to cover all areas of the buffer zone where the two sides were in close proximity to each other.

٩١ - وفي الفقرة ٥ من قراره ٩٦٩ )١٩٩٤(، طلب مجلس اﻷمن مرة أخرى إلى السلطات العسكرية على الجانبين الشروع في اجراء مناقشات مع قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في قبرص دون مزيد من التأخير، بغرض الدخول في التزامات متبادلة بحظر استعمال الذخيرة الحية أو اﻷسلحة ما عدا الخفيفة على طول خطوط اطلاق النار.
