وفي 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006، عُقدت جلسة خاصة لمجلس حقوق الإنسان عن دارفور، اتخذ فيها قرار يدعو إلى إرسال بعثة رفيعة المستوى إلى دارفور لتقييم حقوق الإنسان واحتياجات السودان في هذا الصدد.

12. In his report to the Security Council, the Secretary-General refers to the granting of visas for UNISFA personnel and the necessary cooperation of the Government of the Sudan in this regard (see S/2012/175, paras. 35-36 and 42).

وفي 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006، عقد المجلس دورة استثنائية بشأن دارفور واعتمد قراراً دعا فيه إلى إيفاد بعثة رفيعة المستوى إلى دارفور بهدف تقييم حالة حقوق الإنسان واحتياجات السودان في هذا الصدد.

The delegation of the Sudan in this connection reaffirms its support for the response forwarded by the States members of the League of Arab States to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on the issue of transparency in armaments, given the fact that the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms, in its current form, lacks transparency.
ويؤكد وفد السودان في هذا الصدد تأييده لما جاء في الرد المقدم من الدول اﻷعضاء بجامعة الدول العربية إلى اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة حول الشفافية في مجال التسلح.

On 13 December 2006, at its fourth special session, the Human Rights Council adopted by consensus decision S-4/101 on the situation of human rights in Darfur, in which it decided to dispatch a High-Level Mission (HLM) with the mandate " to assess the human rights situation in Darfur and the needs of the Sudan in this regard ... and to report to the Council at its fourth session to be held from 12 March to 5 April 2007 " .
1- اعتمد مجلس حقوق الإنسان، في دورته الاستثنائية الرابعة المعقودة في 13 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006، بإجماع أعضائه المقرر دإ-4/101 بشأن حالة حقوق الإنسان في دارفور، الذي قرر بموجبه إيفاد بعثة رفيعة المستوى تتمثل مهمتها في " تقييم حالة حقوق الإنسان في دارفور وحاجات السودان في هذا الصدد وتقديم تقرير إلى المجلس في دورته الرابعة المقرر عقدها في الفترة من 12 آذار/مارس إلى 5 نيسان/أبريل 2007 " .

50. The Panel believes that four of the remaining six samples were produced in the Sudanese ammunition production facilities near Khartoum, but it did not receive a conclusive response from the Government of the Sudan in that regard, despite repeated requests.
50 - ويعتقد الفريق أن أربعا من العينات الست المتبقية قد أنتجت في المرافق السودانية لإنتاج الذخائر بالقرب من الخرطوم لكنها لم تتلق ردا قاطعا من حكومة السودان في هذا الصدد على الرغم من الطلبات المتكررة.

105. The strategy of the Government of the Sudan in this connection has been to adopt effective, preventive and curative measures so as to prevent and if need be eradicate those vices altogether.
١٠٥ - وتتمثل الاستراتيجية التي أخذت بها حكومة السودان في هذا الصدد في اتخاذ تدابير فعالة، وقائية وعلاجية لمنع هذه الرذائل كلية ولاستئصالها إذا دعا الحال.
