" ١٣ - تحث مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية على مواصلة الاضطلاع بدوره الخاص في مجال التجارة والتنمية، بما في ذلك تحليل السياسات والعمل المفاهيمي وتكوين توافق اﻵراء، بغية ضمان الوضوح والترابط في جعل السياسات البيئية والتجارية تعزز بعضها بعضا؛

The linkages between environmental and trade policies continue to be high on the agenda for intergovernmental deliberations and consensus-building in, inter alia, FAO, UNCTAD and GATT/WTO.
وما برحت الروابط بين السياسات البيئية والتجارية تحتل مركز الصدارة في جداول أعمال المداولات وعمليات بناء توافق اﻵراء على الصعيد الحكومي الدولي لمحافل شتى منها الفاو واﻷونكتاد والغات/المنظمة العالمية للتجارة.

In accordance with its terms of reference, the Ad Hoc Working Group on Trade, Environment and Development is inter alia requested to " identify and analyse emerging environmental policy instruments with a trade impact, bearing in mind the need for international cooperation towards ensuring transparency and coherence in making environmental and trade policies mutually supportive " (Board conclusions and decisions 415(XL), annex).
١- وفقاً لاختصاصات الفريق العامل المخصص للتجارة والبيئة والتنمية، يطلب اليه " تحديد وتحليل أدوات السياسات البيئية الناشئة التجارية اﻷثر، مع مراعاة الحاجة الى التعاون الدولي من أجل ضمان الشفافية والاتساق في جعل السياسات البيئية والتجارية سياسات متداعمة " )استنتاجات المجلس ومقرراته ٥١٤)د-٠٤(، المرفق(.
