113. The World Bank's Vice-President for the Middle East and North Africa Region visited the LAS headquarters at Cairo in 1992 and held meetings with the League's Secretary-General and the Assistant-Secretary-General for Economic Affairs.
١١٢ - قام نائب رئيس البنك الدولي لمنطقة الشرق اﻷوسط وشمال افريقيا بزيارة مقر جامعة الدول العربية في القاهرة في عام ١٩٩٢ وعقد اجتماعات مع اﻷمين العام للجامعة واﻷمين العام المساعد للشؤون الاقتصاديـــة.

Over a period of more than 10 years, 60 per cent of the countries in the Middle East and North Africa have maintained a high average annual reduction rate of 5 per cent or more; in the Americas nearly half the countries have maintained this rate.
