UNICEF assisted country offices in ensuring, through adequate legal provisions and regulations, that all child victims and/or witnesses of crimes are provided the protection mandated by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and that law enforcement officers fully take into account the Guidelines on Justice in Matters involving Child Victims and witnesses of Crime.

39. CRC recommended that the State ensure that all children victims and/or witnesses of crimes are provided with the protection required by the Convention and that it take fully into account the United Nations Guidelines on Justice in Matters Involving Child Victims and witnesses of Crime.
39- وأوصت اللجنة الدولة بأن توفر لجميع الأطفال ضحايا الجرائم أو الشهود عليها أو لهم معاً الحماية التي تنص عليها الاتفاقية، وأن تراعي كلياً مبادئ الأمم المتحدة التوجيهية بشأن العدالة في الأمور المتعلقة بالأطفال ضحايا الجريمة والشهود عليها(63).
