The Act on freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations was adopted early on, during the first years of independence, and is in full compliance with the relevant international law.
واعتُمد قانون حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية مبكرا خلال السنوات الأولى للاستقلال، ويمتثل امتثالا تاما للقانون الدولي ذي الصلة.

The main legislation on freedom of conscience, freedom of beliefs and religious organizations is the Federal Law N125FZ, " On freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations " , of 26 September 1997.
وأهم تشريع في مجال حرية الضمير وحرية المعتقد والمنظمات الدينية هو القانون الاتحادي N125-FZ " بشأن حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية " الصادر في 26 أيلول/سبتمبر 1997.

37. Matters concerning the practical implementation of the constitutional right to freedom of conscience are regulated by the Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations Act of 23 April 1991.

The law on " freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations " is the main law regulating the activities of religious organizations.
والقانون الأساسي الذي ينظم أنشطة المنظمات الدينية هو قانون " حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية " .

(b) A prohibition against the use of religion to foment enmity, hatred or ethnic division (article 5 of the Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations Act);

Belarus stated that its policy in the sphere of confessional relations was regulated by the Law on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations, which guaranteed equality and non-discrimination with respect to all religions before the law.

The Committee also notes the adoption by the Government of Ukraine of the 1991 Act on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations, of the 1993 Acts on Information and on Printed Media, of the 1993 Act on Television and Radio Broadcasting and of the Act on Public Association of Citizens.

By letter dated 11 April 2003, the Special Rapporteur informed the Government of Kyrgyzstan of a report that the second draft of a bill on freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations contained provisions which would make the exercise of freedom of religion or belief subject to a registration procedure; it would also allow alternative military service only for members of certain religions.

38. Article 31 of the Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations Act of 23 April 1991 provides that officials and citizens who violate legislation on freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations bear liability, as established in Ukrainian legislation.
38- وتنص المادة 31 من " قانون حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية " الصادر في 23 نيسان/أبريل 1991 على أن المسؤولين والمواطنين الذين ينتهكون التشريعات المتعلقة بحرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية يتحملون المسؤولية، كما تنص التشريعات الأوكرانية.

69. Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations emphasizes that all citizens of Ukraine are equal before the law and shall be entitled to enjoy equal rights in all areas of economic, political, social and cultural life irrespective of their religious convictions.
69 - وتشدد المادة 4 من قانون أوكرانيا بشأن حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية على أن جميع مواطني أوكرانيا متساوون أمام القانون ويحق لهم التمتع بحقوق متساوية في جميع مجالات الحياة الاقتصادية والسياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية بصرف النظر عن قناعاتهم الدينية.

42. In her conclusions and recommendations, the Special Rapporteur urged the Government to review the amended law of Turkmenistan on freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations so that it would no longer infringe on the rights of individuals and groups in their exercise of freedom of religion or belief.
42 - وحثت المقررة الخاصة، فيما توصلت إليه من استنتاجات وتوصيات، الحكومة على مراجعة القانون المعدل الذي سنته تركمانستان بشأن حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية كي لا ينتهك بعد الآن حقوق الأفراد أو الجماعات في ممارستهم لحرية الدين أو المعتقد.

90.43. Bring the Law on freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations in compliance with international norms, promote religious tolerance and remove restrictions imposed on religious education, activities of religious organizations and religious dressing (Canada);

All issues related to religious organizations are regulated by the Law of the Republic of Armenia " On freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations " (adopted on 17 January 1991) that was among the first laws adopted after independence of the Republic of Armenia.
وينظم قانون جمهورية أرمينيا " حول حرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية " (المعتمد في 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1991)، وهو من أوائل القوانين التي اعتمدت بعد استقلال جمهورية أرمينيا.

IRPP noted that the government also routinely discriminates against other religious communities when deciding whether or not to register a religious group as required by the 1998 Law on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations.
25- وأشار معهد الديانة والسياسة العامة إلى أن الحكومة تمارس أيضاً التمييز بصورة اعتيادية ضد طوائف دينية أخرى عند الفصل في مسألة تسجيل طائفة دينية أو عدم تسجيلها على النحو الذي يقتضيه قانون عام 1998 المتعلق بحرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية(40).

142. The Committee notes with satisfaction the State party’s efforts and policies relating to the protection of national minorities, especially the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of National Minorities and the enactment of the Act on Ukrainian Citizenship, the Act on National Minorities in Ukraine, the Education Act and the Act on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations.
٢٤١- تلاحظ اللجنة مع الارتياح الجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف والسياسات التي تتبعها فيما يتعلق بحماية اﻷقليات القومية، ولا سيما اعتماد إعلان حقوق اﻷقليات القومية وإصدار القانون الخاص بالجنسية اﻷوكرانية، والقانون الخاص باﻷقليات القومية في أوكرانيا، والقانون الخاص بالتعليم، والقانون الخاص بحرية الضمير والمنظمات الدينية.
