In addition to including some technical updates, the draft resolution reiterates its request to the Secretary-General to compile a report on measures undertaken by international organizations on issues relating to the linkage between the fight against terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

3. Reiterates the request to the Secretary-General to utilize electronic means to the fullest extent possible in the dissemination, in as many official languages as feasible, of information related to that report and any other information that the Office for Disarmament Affairs gathers on an ongoing basis in regard to the implementation of the recommendations of the United Nations study;

22. Stresses the importance of disaster risk reduction and subsequent increased responsibilities of the secretariat of the Strategy, and reiterates the request to the Secretary-General to explore all means of securing additional funding to ensure predictable and stable financial resources for the operation of the secretariat;

Among those recommendations were that the Secretary-General should be requested to provide information on the submission of multi-year payment plans to the General Assembly through the Committee on Contributions and to submit an annual report to the Assembly through the Committee on Contributions on the status of Member States' payment plans as at 31 December each year (resolution 57/4 B).
ومن تلك التوصيات الطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يوفر معلومات عن تقديم خطط التسديد المتعددة السنوات إلى الجمعية العامة، عن طريق لجنة الاشتراكات وأن يقدم تقريرا سنويا إلى الجمعية، عن طريق لجنة الاشتراكات، عن حالة خطط الدول الأعضاء للتسديد، كما هي في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر من كل عام (القرار 57/4 باء).
