كذلك تؤيد مصر أي عمل جاد من أجل استئناف المفاوضات المباشرة على المسارين السوري واللبناني، بما يسمح للدولتين باستعادة أراضيهما المحتلة، ومن ثم التوصل إلى سلام شامل وتنفيذ المبادرة العربية للسلام. وبالتالي إنهاء كامل للصراع العربي الإسرائيلي.

The basis for a solution is clear to all of us, as expressed by the President of the United States in the context of his two-State vision, which is in harmony with relevant United Nations resolutions and with the Arab Peace Initiative, adopted unanimously at the Beirut Summit.
