A new Call for accelerated action on the Implementation of the Plan of Action towards Africa Fit for Children (2008-2012) was adopted by the Second Pan-African Forum and brought to the attention of the General Assembly in 2007.
وقد وجه المنتدى الأفريقي الثاني نداء جديدا من أجل العمل المعجل لتنفيذ خطة عمل أفريقيا الملائمة للأطفال (2008-2012) ووجه انتباه الجمعية العامة إليه في عام 2007.

The Committee encourages the State party to also monitor the implementation of the " Call for accelerated action on the implementation of the Plan of Action towards Africa Fit for Children (200 - 012) " adopted in Cairo on 2 November 2007 by the African Union second Pan-African Forum on Children: midterm review (see A/62/653).
وتشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على أن ترصد أيضاً مدى تنفيذ " النداء من أجل العمل المعجل لتنفيذ خطة عمل أفريقيا الملائمة للأطفال (2008-2012) " الذي اعتمد في القاهرة في 2 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 من جانب المنتدى الأفريقي الثاني بشأن الأطفال التابع للاتحاد الأفريقي: استعراض منتصف المدة. (انظر A/62/653).

The document, entitled " Small Island Developing States Accelerated Modalities of Action (Samoa Pathway) " , had been agreed subject to further consideration and adoption at the Samoa conference.
وقد تمت الموافقة على الوثيقة المعنونة ' ' مسار طرائق العمل المعجل للدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية`` على أن تخضع للمزيد من الدراسة توطئة لاعتمادها في مؤتمر ساموا.

Noting with appreciation the attention to gender equality and the empowerment of women reflected in the outcome document of the third International Conference on Small Island Developing States, entitled " SIDS Accelerated Modalities of Action (SAMOA) (Samoa Pathway) " , and encouraging its appropriate follow-up and implementation,
وإذ تلاحظ مع التقدير الاهتمام بالمساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة المعرب عنه في الوثيقة الختامية للمؤتمر الدولي الثالث المعني بالدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية المعنونة ' ' إجراءات العمل المعجل للدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية (مسار ساموا)``()، وإذ تشجع متابعتها وتنفيذها على النحو الملائم،

participate in the implementation and monitoring of the Call for Accelerated Action and the 2001 Plan of Action;

The Committee encourages the State party to also monitor the implementation of the " Call for accelerated action on the implementation of the Plan of Action towards Africa Fit for Children (2008-2012) " adopted in Cairo on 2 November 2007 by the African Union second Pan-African Forum on Children: midterm review (see A/62/653).
كما تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على رصد تنفيذ " النداء من أجل العمل المعجل لتنفيذ خطة عمل أفريقيا الملائمة للأطفال (2008-2012) " ، الذي اعتُمده المنتدى الأفريقي الثاني للاتحاد الأفريقي بشأن الأطفال: استعراض منتصف المدة، في القاهرة في 2 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 (انظر الوثيقة A/62/653).

Since adopting a common position on the rights of the child in 2001, African states had reviewed progress in 2007 in the light of which they had adopted the " Call for accelerated action on the Implementation of the Plan of Action towards Africa Fit for Children (2008-2012) " .
ومنذ أن اعتمدت الدول الإفريقية موقفاً مشتركاً بشأن حقوق الطفل في عام 2001، قامت في عام 2007 باستعراض التقدم المحرز واعتمدت في ضوء ذلك " النداء من أجل العمل المعجل لتنفيذ خطة عمل أفريقيا الملائمة للأطفال (2008 -2012) " .

In my capacity as the representative of the current Chairman of the African Union, I have the honour to transmit herewith the text of the outcome of the African Union second Pan-African Forum on Children: midterm review, adopted in Cairo on 2 November 2007, entitled " Call for accelerated action on the implementation of the Plan of Action towards Africa Fit for Children (2008-2012) " (see annex).

وإذ ترحب بالنداء من أجل أفريقيا خالية من تشويه الأعضاء التناسلية للإناث، الذي أعلنه المنتدى الأفريقي الثاني للاتحاد الأفريقي بشأن الطفل: استعراض منتصف الفترة، الذي عُقد في القاهرة في الفترة من 29 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر إلى 2 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007، فضلا عن اعتماد النداء من أجل العمل المعجل لتنفيذ خطة العمل الرامية إلى إيجاد " أفريقيا صالحة للأطفال " (2008-2012)()،

She requested the Secretariat to ensure that any reference made to that outcome document, entitled the " SIDS Accelerated Modalities of Action (SAMOA) Pathway " , whether in the present resolution or any other relevant resolution, should be made consistent with the title that had been adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 69/15.
وطلبت إلى الأمانة العامة ضمان أن تكون أي إشارة إلى تلك الوثيقة الختامية، المعنونة " إجراءات العمل المعجل للدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية (مسار ساموا) " ، سواء في هذا القرار أو في أي قرارات أخرى ذات صلة، متسقة مع العنوان الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة في قرارها 69/15.
