68. Members of the Council also considered a letter from the Secretary-General (S/2001/47) seeking the President's views on the appointment of Mohammed El Habib Fassi Fihri as a replacement judge on the Tribunal.
68 - ونظر أعضاء المجلس أيضا في رسالة موجهة من الأمين العام (S/2001/47) يلتمس فيها آراء الرئيس بشأن تعيين السيد محمد الحبيب الفاسي الفهري محل أحد قضاة المحكمة.

In his reply (S/2001/48), the President informed the Secretary-General that, after consultations with the members, he supported the Secretary-General's intention to appoint Mr. Fassi Fihri.
