12. The Special Rapporteur submitted the requested outline E/CN.4/Sub.2/1988/24/Add.1. to the Working Group and the Sub-Commission later in 1988.

15. Since that date, the Special Rapporteur has submitted to the Working Group and the Sub-Commission a preliminary report, E/CN.4/Sub.2/1991/33.

The 2005 OHCHR Annual Appeal has incorporated activities aimed at following up on other recommendations adopted by the Working Group and the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights as well as the proposals made at the informal inter-agency meeting.

٢- وطلبت اللجنة الفرعية أيضاً إلى السيد فان بوفن أن يقدم، دون أن تترتب على ذلك آثار مالية، مذكرة تراعى فيها التعليقات والملاحظات التي أبداها كل من الفريق العامل واللجنة الفرعية والمشار إليها في الفقرة السابقة، بغية تسهيل نظر حقوق اﻹنسان في النص المنقح للمبادئ اﻷساسية والخطوط التوجيهية.

4. Recommends that the Working Group and the Sub-Commission continue their efforts to explore possible mechanisms for implementing the draft norms on responsibilities of transnational corporations and other business enterprises with regard to human rights, such as:
4- توصي بأن يواصل كل من الفريق العامل واللجنة الفرعية جهوده من أجل استكشاف الآليات الممكنة لتنفيذ مشروع معايير ومسؤوليات الشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من مؤسسات الأعمال في مجال حقوق الإنسان مع مراعاة المعايير المتصلة بحقوق الإنسان، مثل ما يلي:

It is the role of the Working Group and the Sub-Commission to evaluate the contents of communications pursuant to the criteria set out in Council resolution 1503 (XLVIII) and Sub-Commission resolution 1 (XXIV). Any criticism directed at the Secretariat for transmitting communications to Member States is, therefore, unwarranted and inappropriate.
أما تقييم محتويات البلاغات بمقتضى المعايير المبينة في قرار المجلس ٣٠٥١ )د-٨٤( وقرار اللجنة الفرعية ١ )د-٤٢( فهو دور الفريق العامل واللجنة الفرعية. لذا كان أي انتقاد موجه إلى اﻷمانة العامة ﻹحالتها البلاغات إلى الدول اﻷطراف غير مناسب وغير مبرر.

Therefore, she continued work on her Draft Guidelines in the hope that this will contribute to the adoption of principles and guidelines by the Sub-Commission as quickly as possible, giving due respect to other members of the working group and the SubCommission as a whole.

68. The Committee endorsed the recommendation of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee that the item should be retained on the agenda for the thirty-third ession of the Subcommittee and that the time allocated to the topic in both the Working Group and the Subcommittee should be adjusted as appropriate.
٦٨ - وأيدت اللجنة توصية اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية بإبقاء هذا البند في جدول أعمال الدورة الثالثة والثلاثين للجنة الفرعية، وبأن يعدل الوقت المخصص لهذا الموضوع في كل من الفريق العامل واللجنة الفرعية حسب الاقتضاء.
