١٠ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يكفل تنسيق أعمال منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة فيما يتصل بتوفير استجابة كافية لاحتياجات الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يحشد المساعدة المالية والتقنية والاقتصادية وغيرها من أنواع المساعدة؛

The international community must address and continue to act to bring an end to all Israeli actions against the Palestinian people and to ensure Israel's compliance with international law and its obligations as an occupying Power.
وعلى المجتمع الدولي أن يتصدى لجميع الأعمال الإسرائيلية الموجهة ضد الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يواصل العمل على وضع حد لها، ويكفل انصياع إسرائيل للقانون الدولي وتقيدها بالتزاماتها بوصفها سلطة محتلة.

We call also on the donor community and the international financial institutions to renew their commitment to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, and to assist in economic and institutional reconstruction.
كما ندعو مجتمع المانحين والمؤسسات المالية الدولية إلى أن تجدد التزامها بتقديم مساعدات إنسانية عاجلة إلى الشعب الفلسطيني وأن تساعد في التعمير الاقتصادي والمؤسسي.

The resolution requested the Secretary-General, inter alia, to ensure the coordinated work of the United Nations system for an adequate response to the needs of the Palestinian people and to mobilize financial, technical, economic and other assistance.
وقد طلب القرار إلى اﻷمين العام، في جملة أمور، أن يكفل تنسيق أعمال منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة فيما يتصل بتوفير استجابة كافية لاحتياجات الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يحشد المساعدة المالية والتقنية والاقتصادية وغيرها من أنواع المساعدة.

Most recently, the Council has mandated all relevant special procedures and other mandate-holders to urgently seek and gather information on the violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people and to report thereon to the Council.
وفي الآونة الأخيرة، كلف المجلس جميع الإجراءات الخاصة المعنية ومكلفين بولايات آخرين بأن يطلبوا ويجمّعوا على وجه الاستعجال معلومات بشأن انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان للشعب الفلسطيني وأن يقدموا تقريراً في ذلك الشأن إلى المجلس.

وفي الختام، أود مرة أخرى أن أناشد ممثلي الدول الأعضاء وممثلي المنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمجتمع المدني المجتمعين هنا من أجل هذه المناسبة الرسمية، أن يضاعفوا جهودهم لمساعدة الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يحرزوا تقدما في التوصل إلى تسوية شاملة وعادلة ودائمة لقضية فلسطين.

Saudi Arabia had provided material support to the Palestinian people and had called on the international community to urge Israel to release funds owed to the Palestinian people and to facilitate the assistance work of United Nations agencies.
وقدمت المملكة العربية السعودية الدعم المادي للشعب الفلسطيني وطالبت المجتمع الدولي بأن يحث إسرائيل علي الإفراج عن الأموال المستحقة للشعب الفلسطيني وأن ييسر أعمال المساعدة التي تقدمها الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها.

The General Assembly, in its resolution 48/213 of 21 December 1993, called upon relevant organizations and agencies of the United Nations system to intensify their assistance in response to the urgent needs of the Palestinian people and to improve coordination through an appropriate mechanism under the auspices of the Secretary-General.
وفي قرار الجمعية العامة ٨٤/٣١٢، المؤرخ ١٢ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ٣٩٩١، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى المؤسسات والوكالات المختصة في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة أن تكثف مساعداتها لتلبية الاحتياجات الملحة للشعب الفلسطيني وأن تحسن عملية التنسيق عن طريق آلية ملائمة برعاية اﻷمين العام.

(c) Also requested the Committee to continue to extend its cooperation to non-governmental organizations in their contribution towards heightening international awareness of the facts relating to the question of Palestine and promoting support and assistance to meet the needs of the Palestinian people, and to take the necessary steps to involve additional non-governmental organizations in its work.
)ج( وتطلب أيضا إلى اللجنة أن تواصل تعاونها مع المنظمات غير الحكومية في مجال إسهام هذه المنظمات في العمل على رفع مستوى الوعي الدولي بالحقائق المتعلقة بقضية فلسطين وتشجيع تقديم الدعم والمساعدة لتلبية احتياجات الشعب الفلسطيني. وأن تتخذ الخطوات اللازمة لاشراك مزيد من المنظمات غير الحكومية في أعمالها.

The international community must take action to compel Israel to cease forthwith such illegal policies and practices against the Palestinian people and to instead scrupulously abide by its legal obligations under international law, including humanitarian and human rights law, in its actions towards the civilian population under its occupation.
ويتعين على المجتمع الدولي اتخاذ إجراءات من أجل إرغـام إسرائيل على أن تكـف فورا عن مثل هذه السياسات والممارسات اللاقانونية ضـد الشعب الفلسطيني وأن تمتثل بدقـة، بدلا من ذلك، بالتزاماتها القانونية بموجب القانون الدولي، بما في ذلك القانون الإنساني وقانون حقوق الإنسان، في تصرفاتها إزاء السكان الفلسطينيـين تحت الاحتلال.

3.48 Following the adoption by the General Assembly of resolution 48/213 of 21 December 1993, in which the Secretary-General was requested to ensure the coordinated work of the United Nations system for an adequate response to the needs of the Palestinian people and to mobilize financial, technical, economic and other assistance, the Secretary-General appointed the Special Coordinator in the Occupied Territories on 24 May 1994.
٣-٤٨ بعد أن اتخذت الجمعية العامة القرار ٤٨/٢١٣ المؤرخ ٢١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، الذي طُلب فيه إلى اﻷمين العام أن يكفل تنسيق أعمال منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة فيما يتصل بتوفير استجابة كافية لاحتياجات الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يحشد المساعدة المالية والتقنية والاقتصادية وغيرها من أنواع المساعدة، قام اﻷمين العام في ٢٤ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤ بتعيين ممثل خاص في اﻷراضي المحتلة.
