In that regard, we also concur with what the Secretary-General states in his report as well as in his address in this very Hall on 23 September 2003, when he indicated that the events of the past few months were so traumatic for us all and that they have led us to dispassionately re-think the kind of Organization we want and to take action in the area of reform.

What we need is a dialogue that delivers, as the Secretary-General underscored in this very same Hall yesterday.

If we do so, we will deserve the respect of future generations, especially when they celebrate — surely in this same Hall — the hundredth anniversary of the United Nations.
وإذا فعلنا ذلك، سنستحق احترام اﻷجيال المقبلة، وخاصة عندما تحتفل، في هذه القاعة نفسها بالتأكيد، بالذكرى السنوية المائة ﻹنشاء اﻷمم المتحدة.

Before concluding, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you once more that the Austrian foreign minister will address the Conference on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and subsequently launch, together with Handicap International, the ICSC and Norway study on assisting victims of landmines and explosive remnants of war here in this very same room on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
