9. On 15 August, the Transitional National Assembly, by a unanimous vote, adopted a resolution amending the Transitional Administrative Law to allow a further seven days to come to an agreement on outstanding issues.

5. As described in my last report, the Transitional National Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution on 15 August -- the original deadline for finalizing the draft text of the constitution, to amend the Transitional Administrative Law to allow an additional seven days to reach a consensus on the constitution.
5 - كما جاء في تقريري الماضي، فإن الجمعية الوطنية الانتقالية اعتمدت بالإجماع، في 15 آب/أغسطس - وهو الموعد النهائي الذي كان مقررا في الأصل لاستكمال مشروع نص الدستور - قرارا يعدِّل القانون الإداري الانتقالي للسماح بمهلة إضافية مدتها سبعة أيام أخرى للتوصُّل إلى اتفاق بشأن الدستور.

According to the Transitional Administrative Law, the Transitional National Assembly has to prepare a draft of a permanent constitution by no later than 15 August 2005 (with a possible one-time extension of six months), which would then be put to a referendum by no later than 15 October 2005 (or 15 April 2006).
ويقتضي القانون الإداري الانتقالي من الجمعية الوطنية الانتقالية أن تعد مشروع دستور دائم في موعد لا يتجاوز 15 آب/أغسطس 2005 (مع إمكانية التمديد مرة واحدة لمدة ستة أشهر)، ثم يجرى استفتاء بشأنه في موعد لا يتجاوز 15 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2005، (أو 15 نيسان/أبريل 2006).

73. With the certification of the results of the December election on 10 February 2006, the transition timetable set forth in the Transitional Administrative Law and endorsed by resolution 1546 (2004) has been completed.
73 - بالتصديق في 10 شباط/فبراير 2006 على نتائج الانتخابات التي جرت في كانون الأول/ديسمبر، تم الانتهاء من تنفيذ الجدول الزمني للعملية الانتقالية المبينة في القانون الإداري الانتقالي والمؤيد في القرار 1546 (2004).

3. Following the adoption of the new Constitution by the Iraqi people in the referendum held on 15 October 2005, the December election for a new Parliament, the Council of Representatives, marked the beginning of the last phase of the political transition process set forth in the Transitional Administrative Law and endorsed by the Security Council in resolution 1546 (2004).
3 - في أعقاب إقرار الشعب العراقي للدستور الجديد في الاستفتاء المُنظم في 15 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2005، دشنت انتخابات البرلمان الجديد، مجلس النواب، التي جرت في كانون الأول/ديسمبر بداية المرحلة الأخيرة من عملية الانتقال السياسي المنصوص عليها في القانون الإداري الانتقالي والمؤيدة بقرار مجلس الأمن 1546 (2004).
