وتنص المادة ١٩١ من نفس القانون على فرض عقوبة مماثلة على التهجم على أي دين أو تعطيل ممارسته، ويقضي القانون الليبي باحترام جميع اﻷديان ويعاقب كل ما ينشر لتشويه أو تحريف النصوص المقدسة في أي دين.

For example, Libyan legislation does not criminalize genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity.
فعلى سبيل المثال، لا يجرّم القانون الليبي المسؤولين عن الإبادة الجماعية، أو جرائم الحرب، أو الجرائم المرتكبة ضد الإنسانية.

A decision was taken on 17 December 2011 to extend this investigation to include crimes against the person under Libyan law.

24- وإذا كانت الديانة الرسمية هي الإسلام، فإن ذلك لا يمنع أصحاب الديانات الأخرى من حق ممارسة شعائرهم، وهو ما كفله القانون الليبي وسبقت الإشارة إليه بوضوح في التقرير السابق.

He asked what was the status of the Covenant in Libyan law, and to what extent domestic legislation and, in particular, legislation on inheritance were in line with the provisions of the Covenant.

The law prohibits the acts of handling, possession and consumption of alcohol, narcotic drugs and other harmful psychotropic substances, which are punishable as felonies in Libyan law.
41- يحرم القانون تداول وحيازة وتعاطي الخمور والمخدرات وغيرها من المؤثرات العقلية الضارة، حيث يُعاقب عليها بعقوبة الجناية في القانون الليبي.

(c) Under Libyan law, the child's opinions, testimony and statements may be heard concerning any matter in connection with legal proceedings in which he is a party;

343- يشدد القانون الليبي على مسائل الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي على الأطفال خاصة، وذلك من خلال إقرار عقوبات مشددة يرد ذكر بعضها فيما يلي.

77. Ms. ABAKA wondered whether Libyan law was not overly protective of women by excluding them from occupations which required hard and dangerous work or were incompatible with women's nature and asked what the occupations in question were.
٧٧ - السيدة أباكا: تساءلت عما إذا كان القانون الليبي لا يحمي بشدة المرأة في مجال التوظيف بحظر الالتحاق بأعمال شاقة أو خطرة أو لا تتفق مع طبيعتها، وقالت إنها تود معرفة ما هي المهن المشار اليها.

17. He apologized for the erroneous reference to artificial insemination in chapter VII of the report; artificial insemination was permissible under Libyan law when necessary, provided that the sperm was obtained from the husband and there was agreement between the couple.
١٧ - ثم أعرب عن الاعتذار لما ورد بطريق الخطأ في الفصل السابع من التقرير من إشارة إلى التلقيح الصناعي. فالتلقيح الصناعي أجازه القانون الليبي عند الضرورة، شريطة أن يكون اللقاح في الحالتين من الزوجين وبعد موافقتهما.

In this context Human Rights Watch (HRW) requested to amend the Libyan law to allow for Libyan women to pass on Libyan nationality to their children.
وقد طلبت منظمة رصد حقوق الإنسان في هذا الصدد تعديل القانون الليبي بحيث يسمح لليبيات بنقل جنسيتهن إلى أطفالهن(4).

In return, the Government of Libya expects the ICC to ensure that members of delegations sent to Libya observe professional ethics, respect Libyan law and the sovereignty of the State, and refrain from committing any offences that may constitute obstacles to the establishment of an effective, positive partnership between it and the Court.
وفي المقابل تتطلع الحكومة الليبية إلى أن تقوم المحكمة بضمان احترام أخلاق المهنة من جانب الموفدين إلى ليبيا، واحترام القانون الليبي وسيادة الدولة، والامتناع عن أية خروقات قد تقف حجر عثرة أمام تفعيل شراكة فاعلة وإيجابية مع المحكمة.

24. Mr. QUATEEN (Libyan Arab Jamahiriya) said that in the Jamahiriya a child acquired the nationality of his father; in view of the right of all persons to a nationality, Libyan law endeavoured in that way to eliminate cases of statelessness.
24- السيد قطين (الجماهيرية العربية الليبية)، ذكَّر بأن الطفل في الجماهيرية يحمل جنسية أبيه وأن كل شخص له الحق في جنسية وأن القانون الليبي يحاول استبعاد حالات انعدام الجنسية.

Members of the Committee also asked for clarification on the scope of the term " torture " , as used in article 435 of the Penal Code, on whether it covered both physical and mental or moral suffering and on how mental torture was punished under Libyan law.
كذلك طلب أعضاء اللجنة ايضاحا بالنسبة لنطاق مصطلح " التعذيب " كما هو مستخدم في المادة ٤٣٥ من قانون العقوبات، وعما اذا كان يشمل كلا من العذاب الجسدي والعذاب النفسي أو المعنوي، وعن كيفية المعاقبة على التعذيب النفسي بمقتضى القانون الليبي.

Under Libyan legislation, abortion, too, was a crime. That paragraph therefore warranted further consideration.
وبمقتضى القانون الليبي فان الاجهاض يعتبر أيضا جريمة ولهذا فان هذه الفقرة تتطلب مزيدا من الدراسة .
