كما أود أن أعرب، باسم مكتب اللجنة الرابعة، عن عميق تقديرنا للوفود التي عملت على تنسيق الجهود المتعلقة بتجميع مشاريع القرارات التي اعتمدتها اللجنة.

As I already said, in accordance with past practice, exchanges on regional disarmament and security, the disarmament machinery, the follow-up to resolutions adopted by the Committee at its most recent session and the presentation of reports by the High Representative on Disarmament Affairs will be informal.

24. The people of the United States Virgin Islands had virtually no knowledge of the political status options available to them, even though numerous resolutions adopted by the Committee referred to the need in awareness-raising programmes.
24 - واسترسلت قائلة إن شعب جزر فيرجن التابعة للولايات المتحدة ليست له عمليا أية معرفة بخيارات الوضع السياسي المتاحة له، وإن كانت العديد من القرارات التي اعتمدتها اللجنة تشير إلى الحاجة إلى برامج التوعية.

As I mentioned before, in accordance with past practice that delegates have established, the follow-up of resolutions adopted by the Committee at its past session, the presentation of reports by the High Representative on Disarmament Affairs and the exchanges on regional disarmament and security and disarmament machinery, as well as the meeting with non-governmental organizations -- all of these will be informal.
