Noting that the Preparatory Committee continued the discussion of the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute and initiated consideration of draft texts, with a view to preparing a widely acceptable consolidated text of a convention for an international criminal court,
وإذ تلاحظ أن اللجنة التحضيرية واصلت مناقشة القضايا الفنية واﻹدارية الرئيسية الناشئة عن مشروع النظام اﻷساسي، وبدأت النظر في مشاريع النصوص بغية إعداد نص موحد ومقبول على نطاق واسع لاتفاقية تتعلق بإنشاء محكمة جنائية دولية،

Noting that the Ad Hoc Committee on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court has made considerable progress during its sessions on the review of the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission,
وإذ تحيط علما بأن اللجنة المخصصة ﻹنشاء محكمة جنائية دولية قد أحرزت تقدما ملموسا خلال دوراتها فيما يتعلق باستعراض القضايا الفنية واﻹدارية الرئيسية الناشئة عن مشروع النظام اﻷساسي الذي أعدته لجنة القانون الدولي،

Given that the Ad Hoc Committee charged with reviewing the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute of an international criminal court was expected to have an initial session of two or three weeks in early 1996, the Special Committee's session should be reduced to two weeks in order to alleviate the burden on many delegations.
وحيث أن اللجنة المخصصة المسؤولة عن استعراض القضايا الفنية واﻹدارية الرئيسية الناشئة عــن مشروع النظــام اﻷساسي للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية من المتوقع أن تعقد دورة أولية لمدة أسبوعين أو ثلاثة أسابيع في مطلع عام ١٩٩٦، فينبغي تقليل مدة دورة اللجنة الخاصة الى أسبوعين لتخفيف العبء على الكثير من الوفود.

Noting also that the States participating in the Ad Hoc Committee still have different views on major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission and that, therefore, further discussions are needed for reaching consensus on the above issues in the future,
وإذ تحيط علما أيضا بأنه لا يزال هناك خلاف في آراء الدول المشاركة في اللجنة المخصصة بشأن القضايا الفنية واﻹدارية الرئيسية الناشئة عن مشروع النظام اﻷساسي الذي أعدته لجنة القانون الدولي، وأن الحاجة تدعو بالتالي إلى إجراء مزيد من المناقشات من أجل التوصل في المستقبل إلى توافق في اﻵراء بشأن القضايا المشار إليها أعلاه،
