In its resolution 45/8, entitled " Control of cannabis in Africa " , the Commission requested the Executive Director to submit to it at its forty-seventh session a report on the implementation of the resolution.
وطلبت اللجنة إلى المدير التنفيذي، في قرارها 45/8 المعنون " مراقبة القنّب في أفريقيا " ، أن يقدم إليها، في دورتها السابعة والأربعين، تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار.

Governments should call on the African Union to give greater priority to the control of cannabis in Africa and to develop a common strategy to combat illicit cannabis cultivation, production, trafficking and abuse.
24- ينبغي للحكومات أن تدعو الاتحاد الأفريقي إلى منح أولوية أكبر لمكافحة القنّب في أفريقيا ووضع استراتيجية مشتركة لمكافحة زراعة القنب وإنتاجه والاتجار به وتعاطيه بصورة غير مشروعة.

Recalling also Commission on Narcotic Drugs resolution 45/8 on the control of cannabis in Africa,
وإذ تشير أيضا إلى قرار لجنة المخدرات 45/8 بشأن مكافحة القنّب في أفريقيا()،

(a) Governments should call on the African Union to give greater priority to the control of cannabis in Africa and to develop a common strategy to combat illicit cannabis cultivation, production, trafficking and abuse;
(أ) ينبغي للحكومات أن تدعو الاتحاد الأفريقي إلى إعطاء أولوية أعلى لمكافحة القنّب في أفريقيا ووضع استراتيجية مشتركة لمكافحة زراعة القنب وإنتاجه والاتجار به وتعاطيه بصورة غير مشروعة؛

Noting with concern that increased cultivation of cannabis in Africa is extremely dangerous for the ecosystem because it leads to extensive use of fertilizers, overexploitation of the soil and destruction of forests to make room for new cannabis fields, thus accelerating soil erosion,
وإذ تلاحظ بقلق أن ازدياد زراعة القنّب في أفريقيا يمثّل خطرا بالغا على النظام البيئي الأحيائي (الإيكولوجي)، لأنه يفضي إلى استعمال الأسمدة على نطاق واسع وإلى فرط استغلال التربة وتدمير الأحراج لأجل توفير حيّز لحقول القنّب الجديدة، مما يعجّل بتآكل التربة،
