In Lebanese law, there is only the provision of article 860 of the Civil Proceedings Law to the effect that the funds of foreign States may not be seized with the exception of those involved in a transaction subject to the rules of private law.

410. There are no special measures in the Lebanese law that ensure the rights of children to leisure and rest.

The procedure has, for example, standardized the conduct of interviews of witnesses and suspects, taking into account Lebanese law and relevant international standards, including international criminal procedure, so as to prepare for future legal proceedings before a tribunal, possibly of an international character.

The provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child have been incorporated into Lebanese legislation, and notably into juvenile law, which means that, since the courts base their sentences directly on Lebanese law, they are indirectly applying the provisions of the Convention.

تطبق القوانين اللبنانية أيضا على كل أجنبي أو عديم الجنسية مقيم أو وجد في لبنان، أقدم في الخارج فاعلا أو شريكا أو محرضا أو متدخلا، على ارتكاب جناية أو جنحة [...]، إذا لم يكن تسليمه قد طلب أو قبل.

155. Lebanese laws relating to public health: The most conspicuous flaw in Lebanese public health laws is the failure to enshrine the citizen's right to health and access to health facilities in an explicit legal provision.
155 - القوانين اللبنانية المتعلّقة بالصحة العامة: إن أبرز ما يشوب القوانين اللبنانية المتعلّقة بالصحة العامة هو عدم تكريس حق المواطن في الصحة وفي الوصول إلى المرافق الصحية في نصّ قانوني صريح.

1. When Lebanon becomes a party to international conventions and the protocols thereto pursuant to the authorization issued by the Chamber of Deputies, these provisions become an integral part of Lebanese legislation, without there being any need to amend it.
