In its resolution 47/236 of 14 September 1993, the General Assembly decided, inter alia, that the costs of UNFICYP for the period from 16 June 1993 that were not covered by voluntary contributions should be treated as expenses of the Organization to be borne by Member States in accordance with Article 17, paragraph 2, of the Charter of the United Nations.
٣ - وقررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٤٧/٢٣٦ المؤرخ ١٤ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣، في جملة أمور، أن يعامل ما لم تغطه التبرعات من تكاليف القوة للفترة التي بدأت في ١٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٣، على أنه مصروفات للمنظمة تتحملها الدول اﻷعضاء وفقا للفقرة ٢ من المادة ١٧ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

٣ - وقررت الجمعية العامة، بقرارها ٤٧/٢٣٦ المؤرخ ١٤ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣، أمورا شتى منها معاملة تكاليف القوة للفترة التي تبدأ من ١٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٣ التي لا تغطى من التبرعات، باعتبارها مصروفات للمنظمة تتحملها الدول اﻷعضاء وفقا للفقرة ٢ من المادة ١٧ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

12. The Board's recommendation does not take into account that the General Assembly had decided in its resolution 47/236 that the costs of UNFICYP for the period beginning 16 June 1993 that were not covered by voluntary contributions should be treated as expenses of the Organization to be borne by Member States.
12 - لا تضع توصية المجلس في اعتبارها أن الجمعية العامة قررت، في قرارها 47/236، أنه يتعين أن تعامل تكاليف القوة للفترة التي تبدأ في 16 حزيران/يونيه 1993، التي لا تغطيها التبرعات، باعتبارها من نفقات الأمم المتحدة التي تتحملها الدول الأعضاء.
