Since this is the first time that my delegation is taking the floor under your presidency and also my last opportunity to deliver a statement to the Conference as Zimbabwe's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations at Geneva, allow me to congratulate you on your assumption of this important responsibility.
