However, if the current wording of the draft article entitled " Relationship to international law and other agreements " were adopted, it would provide that nothing in the Convention shall prejudice the rights and obligations of any State under customary international law as reflected in UNCLOS or under any existing international agreement.
بيد أنه إذا ما اعتُـمدت الصياغة الحالية لمشروع المادة المعنونة " العلاقة بالقانون الدولي وبالاتفاقات الأخرى " فإنها ستنص على أن الاتفاقية لا تتضمن ما يمس بحقوق وواجبات أية دولة في إطار القانون الدولي العرفي، على النحو الوارد في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار، أو في إطار أي اتفاق دولي موجود.

The article, entitled " Respect for cultural property " , holds parties responsible for, among other things, " prohibit[ing], prevent[ing] and, if necessary, put[ting] a stop to any form of theft, pillage or misappropriation of, and any acts of vandalism directed against, cultural property " .
وتحمّل هذه المادة المعنونة " احترام الممتلكات الثقافية " الأطراف المسؤولية عن أمور منها " حظر أي سرقة أو نهب أو تبديد للممتلكات الثقافية ووقايتها من هذه الأعمال ووقفها عند اللزوم، وبالمثل حظر أي عمل تخريبي موجه ضد هذه الممتلكات " .

(b) To promote and facilitate cooperation and exchange of information and experience among States Parties The inclusion of the phrase on cooperation among States in the article entitled “Purpose” was supported by the delegation of France, which noted that the purpose of such cooperation should not go beyond combating transnational organized crime and into the area of disarmament and arms control.
)ب( تعزيز وتيسير التعاون وتبادل المعلومات والخبرات بين الدول اﻷطرافأيد ادراج العبارة المتعلقة بالتعاون بين الدول في المادة المعنونة " الغرض " وفد فرنسا، الذي أشار الى أن غرض هذا التعاون لا ينبغي أن يتجاوز نطاق مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية الى مجال نزع السلاح والحد من التسلح.

The article, entitled " Notification of decisions " , provides in paragraph 1 that European Union citizens or their family members affected by any decision taken under article 27(1) to restrict their freedom of movement and residence, " shall be notified in writing [...] in such a way that they are able to comprehend its content and the implications for them " .
وتنص الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة المعنونة " الإخطار بالقرارات " على أن أي قرار صادر بموجب الفقرة 1 من المادة 27 لتقييد حرية مواطن الاتحاد الأوروبي أو أفراد أسرته في التنقل أو الإقامة، " يُخطر خطيا للشخص المعني على نحو يتيح له استعياب محتواه والنتائج المترتبة عليه " .

The adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the new Criminal Code containing the article entitled " Terrorist Act " of the special Act " on combating terrorism " and of the Programme of State Counter-terrorism Measures 2003-2005 is a decisive feature of an active standard-setting process aimed at adapting national laws and the system of anti-terrorist measures to the norms of international law in the field of counter-terrorism.
ويمثل اعتماد البرلمان للقانون الجنائي الجديد الذي يتضمن المادة المعنونة " العمل الإرهابي " والقانون الخاص بـ " مكافحة الإرهاب " وبرنامج تدابير مكافحة إرهاب الدولة للفترة 2003-2005 سمة حاسمة لعملية نشطة لوضع المعايير تهدف إلى مهايأة القوانين الوطنية ونظام تدابير مكافحة الإرهاب لتتلاءم مع قواعد القانون الدولي المتعلقة بمكافحة الإرهاب.
