Nothing contained in this Convention shall affect the principle that the description of the offences established in accordance with this Convention and of the applicable legal defences or other legal principles controlling the lawfulness of conduct is reserved to the domestic law of a State Party and that such offences shall be prosecuted and punished in accordance with that law.

6. Nothing contained in this Convention shall affect the principle that the description of the offences established in accordance with this Convention and of the applicable legal defences or other legal principles controlling the lawfulness of conduct is reserved to the domestic law of a State Party and that such offences shall be prosecuted and punished in accordance with that law.
6- ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يمس بالمبدأ القائل بأن توصيف الأفعال المجرمة وفقا لهذه الاتفاقية وتوصيف الدفوع القانونية المنطبقة أو المبادئ القانونية الأخرى التي تحكم مشروعية السلوك، محفوظ حصرا لقانون الدولة الطرف الداخلي، وبوجوب ملاحقة تلك الجرائم والمعاقبة عليها وفقا لذلك القانون.

Second, although many other legal doctrines are substantially similar to the effect of armed conflict on treaties, a strong argument can be made that the latter is distinguishable on the basis that it occurs automatically, whereas doctrines such as rebus sic stantibus and impossibility must be invoked.
ثانيا، رغم أن العديد من المبادئ القانونية الأخرى مشابهة إلى حد كبير لأثر النزاع المسلح على المعاهدات، إلا أنه يمكن الاستناد إلى حجة قوية مفادها أن هذا أثر النزاع المسلح على المعاهدات يمكن استشفافه استنادا إلى كونه يتم تلقائيا بينما مبادئ كمبدأ بقاء الظروف على حالها والاستحالة يجب الاستظهار بها.
