103. In the Desertification Convention, preambular paragraph 20 stresses the important role played by women in regions affected by desertification and/or drought ... and the importance of ensuring the full participation of both men and women at all levels in programmes to combat desertification and mitigate effects of drought.
١٠٣ - وفي اتفاقية التصحر، تشدد الفقرة ٢٠ من الديباجة على الدور الهام الذي تؤديه المرأة في اﻷقاليم المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، ولا سيما أهمية ضمان المشاركة الكاملة للرجال والنساء على السواء على كل المستويات في برامج مكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف.

وإذ تشدد على الدور الهام الذي تؤديه المرأة في المناطق المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، ولا سيما في المناطق الريفية بالبلدان النامية، وأهمية ضمان المشاركة الكاملة للرجال والنساء على السواء وعلى جميع الصعد في البرامج الرامية الى مكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف،

In accordance with the financial rules of the COP, a special fund was established to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies.
10- وفقاً للقواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف، أنشئ صندوق خاص لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان الأطراف النامية، ولا سيما أقل البلدان نمواً المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، وبخاصة الواقعة في أفريقيا، في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئاته الفرعية.

20. In accordance with the financial rules of the COP, a special fund was established to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies.
20- وفقاً للقواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف، أنشئ صندوق خاص لدعم مشاركة ممثلي البلدان الأطراف النامية، ولا سيما أقل البلدان نمواً المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، وبخاصة الواقعة في أفريقيا، في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف وهيئاته الفرعية.

10. Renews its appeals to Governments, regional economic integration organizations and other interested organizations, including non-governmental organizations, to make early contributions to the Special Voluntary Fund in order to ensure an enhanced effective participation in the negotiation process of developing countries affected by desertification and/or drought, in particular the least developed countries;
١٠ - تجدد مناشدتها الحكومات ومنظمات التكامل الاقتصادي اﻹقليمية والمنظمات اﻷخرى المهتمة باﻷمر، بما في ذلك المنظمات غير الحكومية، أن تبكر بتقديم مساهمات في الصندوق الاستئماني الخاص حتى تكفل زيادة مشاركة البلدان النامية المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، ولا سيما البلدان اﻷفريقية وأقل البلدان نموا، في عملية التفاوض؛

The Special Fund shall receive contributions pursuant to paragraphs 12 (b) and (c) earmarked to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the Conference of the Parties and its subsidiary bodies.

10. Overhead According to rule 10 of the financial rules of the COP, " the Special Fund shall receive contributions... earmarked to support the participation of representatives of developing, and in particular least developed, country Parties affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly those in Africa, in the sessions of the COP and its subsidiary bodies " .

3. The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), in its twentieth preambular paragraph, stresses " the important role played by women in regions affected by desertification and/or drought, particularly in rural areas of developing countries, and the importance of ensuring the full participation of both men and women at all levels in programmes to combat desertification and mitigate the effects of drought. "
3- تشدد اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر في الفقرة العشرين من ديباجتها على " الدور الهام الذي تؤديه المرأة في اﻷقاليم المتأثرة بالتصحر و/أو الجفاف، ولا سيما في المناطق الريفية بالبلدان النامية، وأهمية ضمان المشاركة الكاملة للرجال والنساء على السواء على كل المستويات في برامج مكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف " .
