100. Meeting at ministerial level on 29 February 2004, the Follow-up and Action Committee studied carefully the new conditions in Iraq and their present and probable repercussions vis-à-vis the overall Arab and regional situation. The Committee recommended the following:
100 - وتدارست لجنة المتابعة والتحرك في اجتماعها على المستوى الوزاري بتاريخ 29/2/2004 مختلف الأوضاع المستجدة في العراق وتداعياتها الراهنة والمحتملة على مجمل الأوضاع العربية والإقليمية، وأوصت بما يلي:

During the first ministerial meeting of the Follow-up and Action Committee I proposed, in the context of the creation of a pan-Arab mechanism to monitor implementation of the statement, that the Secretariat-General of the League act as a library in which to collate the achievements of Arab States so that progress reports might be submitted to the Summit.
كما اقترحت خلال الاجتماع الوزاري الأول للجنة المتابعة والتحرك ضمن موضوع إيجاد آلية عربية لمتابعة تنفيذ البيان، أن تكون الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية خزانة لتجميع الإنجازات التي قامت بها الدول العربية، حتى يمكن تقديم تقرير بشأنها إلى القمة.

2. Report of the Follow-up and Action Committee

The report of the Follow-up and Action Committee on the implementation of the resolutions of the Amman summit, the thirteenth regular session of the Summit-level Council, as it relates to this item,

I. Report by the Presidency of the sixteenth ordinary Summit on the work of the Follow-up and Action Committee on the resolutions of the Tunis Summit II.
أولاً : تقرير رئاسة القمة (د.ع 16) عن أعمال لجنة المتابعة والتحرك لتنفيذ قرارات قمة تونس

Taking account of the recommendations of the Follow-up and Action Committee established at the regular session of the Arab summit conference held in Amman, Jordan, in March 2001,
- وإذ يأخذ في الاعتبار توصيات لجنة المتابعة والتحرك المنبثقة عن مؤتمر القمة العربي العادي (عمان - المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية آذار/مارس 2001)،

3. Charges the Council of Ministers of the League of Arab States with studying, at its next session (119th), the final text of the draft document on the mechanisms and working methods of the Follow-up and Action Committee, which is annexed hereto, and to publish the draft text;
3 - تكليف مجلس الوزراء في دورته القادمة (119) بدراسة مشروع " آلية وأسلوب عمل لجنة المتابعة والتحرك " في صيغته النهائية المرفقة وإصداره.

7. The leaders address their thanks to the chairman and members of the Follow-up and Action Committee established by the 2001 Amman summit for their commendable efforts to implement the resolutions of the summit. They assign to the presidency of the current summit the task of holding consultations with the Arab leaders and with the Secretary-General on the Committee's composition and on establishing its mechanisms and modes of operation.
7 - يوجه القادة الشكر إلى رئيس وأعضاء لجنة المتابعة والتحرك المنبثقة عن قمة عمان العادية (2001)، لما قاموا به من جهود مقدرة لتنفيذ قرارات القمة، ويعهدون لرئاسة القمة الحالية إجراء المشاورات مع القادة العرب ومع الأمين العام لتشكيلها وتحديد آلية وأسلوب عملها.

66. Within the framework of Arab political action, the Follow-up and Action Committee studied the situation in Iraq at its ministerial level meeting in Manama on 9 and 10 June 2003. It heard a series of questions asked by the Committee chairman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifah, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain on what the Arab stance should be.
66 - وفي إطار التحرك السياسي العربي، تدارست لجنة المتابعة والتحرك في اجتماعها الذي عُقِدَ في مدينة المنامة على المستوى الوزاري يومي 9 و10/6/2003، الوضع في العراق، واستمعت إلى مجموعة التساؤلات التي طرحها رئيس اللجنة الشيخ محمد بن مبارك آل خليفة نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير خارجية مملكة البحرين آنذاك حول ما يجب أن يكون عليه الموقف العربي.
