Mr. Sach (Representative of the Secretary-General for the Investments of the Fund), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on investments of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund and measures undertaken to increase diversification (A/C.5/65/2), said that, despite market turbulence, the Investment Management Division had been strengthening the Fund's investment infrastructure in order to reduce costs and enhance security.
