The delegation of Ukraine does not find persuasive the allusions to the fact that the issue is anticipated in the Sixth Committee within the framework of discussions on the application of article 50 of the United Nations Charter.

4.10 After recalling the Committee's jurisprudence and its general comment on the implementation of article 3, the State party states that, in the case under consideration, the Swiss Government entirely agrees with the grounds given by the Commission in support of its decision to turn down the complainant's application for asylum and to confirm his expulsion.
4-10 وفي ضوء آراء لجنة مناهضة التعذيب وملاحظتها العامة المتعلقة بتطبيق المادة 3، تعلن الدولة الطرف، أنه في هذه الحالة، تعتمد الحكومة السويسرية تماماً المبررات التي استندت إليها لجنة الطعون السويسرية تعزيزاً لقرارها برفض طلب صاحب مقدم البلاغ للجوء وتأكيد طرده.

33. At its 589th meeting, the Committee decided to take up issues under agenda item 7 on the implementation of article 21 of the Convention, and agenda item 8, on ways and means of expediting the work of the Committee, as a working group of the whole.
33 - قررت اللجنة في جلستها 589 أن تتناول في إطار البند 7 من جدول الأعمال المسائل المتعلقة بتطبيق المادة 21 من الاتفاقية، وفي إطار البند 8 من جدول الأعمال سبل ووسائل التعجيل بعمل اللجنة كفريق عامل بكامل هيئته.

3. To overcome challenges concerning the application of article 9 of the Convention, it was agreed at the Cartagena Summit that States Parties that have not developed national implementation measures will, as a matter of urgency, develop and adopt legislative, administrative and other measures in accordance with article 9 to fulfil their obligations under this article and thereby contributing to full compliance with the Convention.
3- وللتغلب على التحديات المتعلقة بتطبيق المادة 9 من الاتفاقية، اتُفق في قمة كارتاخينا على أن الدول الأطراف التي لم تضع تدابير وطنية للتنفيذ مدعوة لأن تضع وتعتمد، على وجه الاستعجال، تدابير تشريعية وإدارية وغير ذلك من التدابير تمشياً مع المادة 9 من أجل الوفاء بالتزاماتها بموجب هذه المادة ومن ثم الإسهام في الامتثال التام للاتفاقية.

His delegation looked forward to the outcome of the further consideration by the Committee on Contributions, at its fifty-ninth session, of the issue of the application of Article 19, including the practical implications of the proposals contained in its report (A/53/11).
ويتطلع وفده إلى النتائج التي ستتوصل إليها لجنة الاشتراكات بعد نظرها في المسائل المتعلقة بتطبيق المادة ١٩، بما في ذلك اﻵثار العملية المترتبة على الاقتراحات الواردة في تقريرها A/53/11)(، وذلك في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين.
