I would like to explain the vote of our countries on the draft resolution on the Syrian Golan.

We believe that the draft resolution on the Syrian Golan contains geographical references that could undermine the process of bilateral negotiation.

Finally, I should like to refer here to the draft resolution on the Syrian Golan under agenda item 44 on the situation in the Middle East.
وختاما، أود أن أشير إلى مشروع القرار المتعلق بالجولان السوري المعروض أمام الجمعية العامة تحت بنــد " الحالــة في الشــرق اﻷوسط " .

Resolution 63/31 on the Syrian Golan: Mexico is in favour of a comprehensive solution to the Middle East conflict based on the relevant United Nations resolutions and achieved through dialogue and negotiation.
القرار 63/31 المتعلق بالجولان السوري: تؤيد المكسيك حلا شاملا لنزاع الشرق الأوسط يستند إلى قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة ويجري التوصل إليه عن طريق الحوار والتفاوض.
