وإذ تشير إلى أن ولاية المركز الإقليمي تتمثل في أن يقدم، عند الطلب، الدعم الفني للمبادرات وغيرها من الأنشطة المتفق عليها فيما بين الدول الأعضاء في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ من أجل تنفيذ تدابير إحلال السلام ونـزع السلاح،

Convinced that the initiatives and activities mutually agreed upon by Member States of the respective regions aimed at fostering confidence, as well as the implementation and coordination of regional activities under the United Nations Disarmament Information Programme, would encourage and facilitate the development of effective measures of confidence-building, arms limitation and disarmament in these regions,
واقتناعا منها بأن المبادرات واﻷنشطة المتفق عليها فيما بين الدول اﻷعضاء في كل منطقة والرامية إلى تعزيز الثقة، فضلا عن تنفيذ وتنسيق اﻷنشطة اﻹقليمية المضطلع بها في إطار برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمعلومات في مجال نزع السلاح، من شأنها أن تشجع وتسهل اتخاذ تدابير فعالة لبناء الثقة والحد من اﻷسلحة ونزع السلاح في هذه المناطق،

Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 42/39 D, the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific is mandated to provide, on request, substantive support for initiatives and other activities mutually agreed upon by the Member States of the Asia-Pacific region for the implementation of measures for peace and disarmament through the appropriate utilization of available resources.
1 - عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 42/39 دال، يُكلَّف مركز الأمم المتحدة الإقليمي للسلام ونزع السلاح في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ بأن يقدم، عند الطلب، الدعم الجوهري إلى المبادرات والأنشطة الأخرى المتفق عليها فيما بين الدول الأعضاء في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ من أجل تنفيذ تدابير إحلال السلام ونزع السلاح، وذلك عن طريق الاستخدام السليم للموارد المتاحة.

Implementation of CBMs, in the field of conventional arms, once agreed should be carried out in good faith according to the terms agreed among the parties.
وينبغي تنفيذ تدابير بناء الثقة في مجال الأسلحة التقليدية فور الاتفاق عليها بحسن نية ووفقا للشروط المتفق عليها فيما بين الأطراف.

25. The Commission on Sustainable Development, during its biennial review sessions, will discuss the contribution of partnerships to the implementation of the intergovernmentally agreed sustainable development goals and objectives.
25 - وسوف تناقش لجنة التنمية المستدامة في أثناء دورات الاستعراض التي تعقدها كل سنتين المساهمة التي تقدمها الشراكات في تنفيذ أهداف وغايات التنمية المستدامة المتفق عليها فيما بين الحكومات.
