7. The International Comparison Programme Executive Board held its first meeting for the 2011 round on 14 October 2009, in Washington, D.C. It is set up as the primary decision-making and strategic body of the programme and is ultimately accountable to the Statistical Commission for the implementation of the 2011 round.
