106. On 10 December 1993 the Supreme Council of Ukraine adopted the Act on the Basic Principles of Social Protection for Labour Veterans and Other Citizens of Advanced Years, which introduced additional concessions and guarantees of social protection for these categories of people.
٦٠١ - وفي ٠١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٣٩٩١، اعتمد المجلس اﻷعلى ﻷوكرانيا القانون المتعلق بالمبادئ اﻷساسية للحماية الاجتماعية لقدامى العمال وغيرهم من المواطنين المتقدمين في السن، وهو قانون نص على امتيازات إضافية وضمانات للحماية الاجتماعية لهذه الفئات من السكان.

٥ - وأردفت قائلة إن المجلس اﻷعلى ﻷوكرانيا به لجنة دائمة معنية بمسائل الصحة واﻷمهات واﻷطفال ولجنة فرعية معنية بالحماية القانونية لحقوق النساء، واﻷسرة واﻷطفال.

42. On 8 June 1995 a Constitutional Treaty was concluded between the Supreme Council of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine on the main principles of the organization and operation of State power and local self-government in Ukraine pending the adoption of a new Constitution of Ukraine.
٢٤- وبتاريخ ٨ حزيران/يونيه ٥٩٩١ أُبرِم اتفاق دستوري بين المجلس اﻷعلى ﻷوكرانيا ورئيس أوكرانيا، بشأن المبادئ اﻷساسية لتنظيم وعمل السلطة الحكومية والهيئات المحلية للحكم الذاتي في أوكرانيا، إلى حين اعتماد دستور أوكرانيا الجديد.

74. In deciding upon a case, the court is guided in its activities by the appropriate Codes and other legislative instruments of Ukraine as well as by international instruments of Ukraine which have been concluded and duly ratified by the Supreme Council of Ukraine and form an integral part of the national legislation of Ukraine.

8. The proportion of women deputies in organs of State power has remained constant for several decades at about 50 per cent in local councils of people's deputies and at a little over a third in the Supreme Council of Ukraine.
٨ - وعلى مدى عدة عقود، كانت نسبة النائبات في أجهزة سلطة الدولة مستقرة،. حيث كانت تتراوح في حدود ٥٠ في المائة في المجالس المحلية لنواب الشعب، وتتجاوز الثلث بقليل في المجلس اﻷعلى ﻷوكرانيا )البرلمان(.

Thus a new wording of article 15 of the Penal Code, adopted by the Supreme Council of Ukraine on 26 January 1993, improves the legal guarantees of self-defence, including self-defence using weapons or any other means or appliances.

In view of this the Supreme Council of Ukraine has adopted a State Programme for Combating Crime (25 June 1993) and also a Ukrainian Act on Organizational and Legal Measures for Combating Organized Crime (30 June 1993).
وإزاء ذلك اعتمد المجلس اﻷعلى ﻷوكرانيا برنامج دولة لمكافحة الجريمة )٥٢ حزيران/يونيه ٣٩٩١( وكذلك قانونا أوكرانيا بشأن التدابير التنظيمية والقانونية لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة )٠٣ حزيران/يونيه ٣٩٩١(.

This decree was adopted as part of the implementation of the State programme for combating crime adopted by the Supreme Council of Ukraine in June 1993 and taking into account the Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners adopted by the United Nations and other international instruments on human rights.
