Similarly, during a recent Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) workshop,3 the first and second priorities were to hold as many regional workshops, seminars and expert group meetings as possible and to hold national workshops in order to enhance the capabilities of national accountants.

(b) The joint United Nations Economic Commission for Europe/Eurostat/OECD meeting of national accountants in April 2006 focused on issues related to updating the SNA.

77 - ويجري حاليا إعداد كتيبين مكمِّلين لنظام الحسابات القومية لعام 2008 موجهين تحديداً إلى دعم المحاسبين الوطنيين في البلدان النامية الصغيرة. وسيكون عنوان أحدهما " نظام الحسابات القومية لعام 2008: المفاهيم بإيجاز " ، والآخر دليل تنفيذ مرفق به عنوانه: " نظام الحسابات القومية لعام 2008: التجميع بإيجاز " .
