United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime on administrative, budgetary and strategic management issues, and, in this context, the practice of holding back-to-back but separate reconvened sessions of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice should be continued, in order to deal with agenda items included in the normative segment of the agenda of each Commission;
وينبغي، في هذا السياق، أن يستمر اتباع الممارسة المتمثلة في عقد لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية لدورتين مستأنفتين متعاقبتين، ولكن منفصلتين، لمعالجة البنود المندرجة في الجزء المعياري من جدول أعمال كل منهما؛

12- ودعت التوصية 2 المدير التنفيذي إلى أن يجري استعراضا مدمجا لجميع الولايات المسندة إلى مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدّرات والجريمة وأن يقدِّم إلى لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، في أقرب وقت ممكن، وثيقة تتناول ترتيب الأولويات.

Aware of the importance of the standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on governance and finance in assisting the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in effectively addressing financial and governance issues relevant to the work of both Commissions,
وإذ يدرك ما للفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي الدائم المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحوكمة والتمويل من أهمية في مساعدة لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية على معالجة مسائل التمويل والحوكمة التي لها صلة بعمل اللجنتين،

4. The working group recommends the continuation of its work in accordance with its mandate for the further consideration of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
4- ويوصي الفريق العامل بالاستمرار في الاضطلاع بأعماله وفقا لولايته لكي تتابع النظر فيها كل من لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية.

The working group recommends the continuation of its work in accordance with its mandate for the further consideration of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. Annex II
4- ويوصي الفريق العامل بالاستمرار في الاضطلاع بأعماله وفقا لولايته لكي تتابع النظر فيها كل من لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية.

A number of speakers noted that, while the working group had started to deal with the issues the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice had entrusted to it, much remained to be done, and noted that no recommendations had yet been put forward by the working group for consideration by the Commissions.
15- وأشار عدد من المتكلمين إلى أن الفريق العامل قد بدأ في تناول المسائل التي أسندتها إليه لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، ولكن لا يزال هناك الكثير ممَّا يتعيَّن القيام به، ولاحظوا أن الفريق العامل لم يقدِّم بعد توصيات لكي تنظر فيها اللجنتان.

Pursuant to Economic and Social Council decision 2009/251, at its fifty-fourth session the Commission shall carry out a thorough review of the functioning of the working group and consider the extension of its mandate, which is in effect until the sessions of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in the first half of 2011.
وعملا بمقرَّر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2009/251، ستُجري اللجنةُ في دورتها الرابعة والخمسين استعراضاً وافيا لأداء الفريق العامل، وستنظر في تمديد ولايته السارية حتى انعقاد دورتي لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في النصف الأول من عام 2011.

(a) The Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice should hold joint reconvened sessions limited to agenda items included in the respective Commission's operational segment, with a view to providing integrated policy directives to UNODC on administrative, budgetary and strategic management issues.
(أ) أن تعقد لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية دورات مستأنفة مشتركة تقتصر على تناول البنود المندرجة في الجزء العملياتي من جدول أعمال كل منهما، بغية تزويد المكتب بتوجيهات سياساتية متكاملة فيما يتعلق بالشؤون الإدارية والميزانية والإدارة الاستراتيجية.

(d) Enhanced document preparation, briefings and increased dialogue continuing to have a significant positive effect on the governance of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime by the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
(د) استمرار الأثر الإيجابي الكبير الناتج عن تحسين إعداد الوثائق والجلسات الإعلامية وتعزيز الحوار على الوظائف التي تضطلع بها لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في مجال حوكمة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدّرات والجريمة.

(a) Expresses its awareness of the importance of the role of the standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on improving the governance and financial situation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in assisting the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in effectively addressing financial and governance issues relevant to the work of both Commissions;
(أ) يعرب عن إدراكه لأهمية دور الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي الدائم المفتوح العضوية المعني بتحسين حوكمة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدّرات والجريمة ووضعه المالي في مساعدة لجنة المخدّرات ولجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية على معالجة المسائل المالية ومسائل الحوكمة التي لها صلة بعمل اللجنتين معالجة فعالة؛
