The effectiveness evaluation shall be conducted on the basis of information, including comparable monitoring data on the presence of the chemicals listed in Annexes A, B, and C of the Convention, and on their regional and global transport.
ويتم إجراء تقييم الفعالية على أساس المعلومات، بما فيها بيانات رصد مقارنة عن وجود المواد الكيميائية المدرجة في المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم للاتفاقية، وكذلك عن انتقالها في البيئة إقليمياً وعالمياً.

Regarding contaminated sites, Article 6 in the Convention requires each Party to endeavor to develop appropriate strategies to identify sites contaminated by chemicals listed in Annex A, B, or C. If remediation of those sites is undertaken, this remediation should be performed in an environmentally sound manner.

2. Confirms the need to provide comparable data on the chemicals listed in Annexes A, B and C of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, and requests the Secretariat and countries to continue to focus on actions that would most effectively contribute to the effectiveness evaluation;
2 - تؤكد على ضرورة توفير بيانات مقارنة عن المواد الكيميائية المدرجة في المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم لاتفاقية استكهولم بشأن الملوثات العضوية الثابتة، وتطلب إلى الأمانة والبلدان الاستمرار في التركيز على الإجراءات التي تساهم بأقصى قدر من الفعالية في تقييم الفعالية؛

Assess the capacity of existing monitoring programmes to make available necessary monitoring data and then begin making arrangements for the provision of comparable monitoring data for the effectiveness evaluation. This can be assisted by continuing the work initiated by UNEP Chemicals for the substances listed in Annexes A, B, and C;
(ج) تقييم قدرة برامج الرصد الموجودة على إتاحة بيانات رصد ضرورة ومن ثم البدء بوضع ترتيبات لتوفير بيانات رصد مقارنة لتقييم الفعالية، وقد يسهم في ذلك مواصلة العمل الذي بدأه قسم المواد الكيميائية ببرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة بشأن المواد المدرجة في المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم؛

" In order to facilitate such evaluation, the Conference of the Parties shall, at its first meeting, initiate the establishment of arrangements to provide itself with comparable monitoring data on the presence of the chemicals listed in Annexes A, B and C as well as their regional and global environmental transport. "

Monitoring data on the presence in the environment of the POPs listed in Annexes A, B and C of the Convention can be collected from existing national and international monitoring programs through a global network using applicable standards and guidelines to ensure comparability of data.
6 - ويمكن جمع بيانات الرصد بشأن الوجود في البيئة للملوثات العضوية الثابتة المدرجة في المرفقات ألف وباء وجيم من الاتفاقية، من البرامج الرصدية والوطنية والدولية القائمة من خلال شبكة عالمية تستخدم المقاييس والمبادئ التوجيهية القابلة للتطبيق وذلك لضمان البيانات القابلة للمقارنة.
